I had a video stuck at 3500 views for about a week. Then today the view count went down 973 views on youtube. The insight stats didn't match the view count at first due to that panda update mess, so I have been slowly adding views to make the stats match the youtube view count. But today it dropped down 973 views.

Anyone else have experience with this?

push views harder, slower, ignore

I think they're deleting some views from certain sources like www.face maybe. They are deleting views though ALL my u2bviews video dropped a bit.

Yeah I had a video drop in views also. I think YT is catching on to my evil ways.

Is this really happening? Sites now are getting so strict since Panda is around. My tricks won't work anymore..:o

holy shit, i thought this day would never come. I wonder if it's certain videos or everyone...

I use a few free view services and nothing has changed for me :)

same for me, i'm also using a few free views services and nothing changed.

4 of my videos have lost around 400 views each this morning.
ive been using u2bviews with a little bit of vagex sometimes ???????

I got some of my views back today (700~). But I have been adding views steadily since my view count dropped.

Same here. My vids across the board lost a lot of views today (around 3K for one video in particular). I think UserNameZero is correct - they're dumping views from bad referrers (i.e. www.face.com). I'm going stop using any free services that do not have legit referrers.

Anyone have any ideas which services are using true referrers? I know Vagex is. I'm not sure what u2bviews and Viewet are using presently, however. Enhance Views must be using one that gets thrown out as I just sent 250 views to a vid through them a few days ago and none of the hits counted, so I'd avoid them for the moment.

Everyone please note: DO NOT list the actual referrers being used by these services in the forum. We'd be foolish to think that YT didn't have spies lurking here. No need to make their jobs any easier.

This is happening with more people, check youtube forums,

also that didnt happened with me, my videos have still www.face referrers and so on, i find that weird, makes more sense that they had to put an partial old backup on other then that. Or problably an mistake from them , as you notice on their forums more people is complaining and im sure that big part of these people dont use traffic exchange services.

Hmmm....after reading through the official YT thread that djlobo posted, I might have been premature in assuming that it has something to do with the referrers (although, I did lose the aforementioned face.com referred views - I'm sure of this). Maybe this is finally a sign that the views are starting to shake themselves out? Perhaps the "lost" views will return? Crap. I think we're all just going to have to hold steady and wait to see. Everyone, please keep us updated if you notice any changes for better or for worse. It will help all of us adjust our strategies accordingly!

Okay an yt staff guy answered that topic:
"We experienced significant issues with spam detection during our viewcount outage and certain videos were incorrectly credited for views that were actually spam. We are correcting these errors by lowering the viewcount for those videos, and apologize for any confusion that this may have caused."

So basicly during this last days videos got views credited incorrectly (this happens on any case, legit and not legit views), i have testing videos getting views from traffic exchange sites, and videos from myself that are legitly getting normal views, and it happened on both.
Now the main question here is: yt staff didnt answered the question that everyone is asking: Views are not counting properly, is that normal? thats the main question and they dont answer wich leads me to think that they have updated their system . Still , if they done allot of people still complaining that their videos are not counting views properly.

Did you guys bothered reading what i said above? this is the explanation to the op topic:

Thanks, djlobo. That's what I thought happened. Really sucks but it's only a matter of time before we figure a way around it, to be honest. Seems to me that the best solution for the moment is to make sure we're sending legit referrers (stumbleupon, reddit, facebook, digg, etc.) I think everyone will be scrambling to do so in the coming days.
