Forum backlinks

hi to all blackhatters and a big thanx to the community for all this useful stuff. Already my site got a PR3 so this really motivates me to work harder.
I would like to ask 2 questions :
When I create forum profiles with my link, do I need to ping them? Does the forum posts needs to be pinged?
Is it necessary to make post with a signature or the profile is enough?

I generally create links in bulk so I don't really ping my backlinks, I simply let the serps find them on their own. If I were you, I'd create the profiles and posts then let them "trickle in" on their own, or ping them in SMALL (around 100 or so) batches over the period of several months. This is how I handle my article blasts. As for you second question, i generally go for profiles only but if you can get a sig. backlink as well, that would be cool.

Yeah I am going to try linklicious.me as well. That is the only thing I struggle with, getting them indexed. As far as I can tell, natural is a myth, and doesn't happen. You have to ping and RSS submit for decent results they say. I am still finding out the best way to index. I have done quit a bit of pinging on my links, and it seems like something is happening vs. nothing. Natural is a joke.

No, you need not ping these forum posts... Since forums have their RSS feeds, so, I believe these feeds ping the search engines automatically.

If you have a signature, that will be good... Signature are good source of driving traffic to your website.

I am a true newbie and rockie... So please don't laugh at me for asking this... but how do you ping the link? so, I craete profiles in forums and ad my url link to my profile page. Then what do I need to do to ping?

You can go to pingler.com or https://www.odesk.com/leaving_odesk.php?ref=http%253A%252F%252Fpingomatic.com for ping your links.
But don't ping links more than 100 in a day for your site.
It seems spam to google.
Actually if you have RSS feed in your forum then it is no necessary to ping the link.
