It is free it is lightening fast but have yet to see any results from it

I think it is kind of like a eb version of BMD .

You do not have to have SB accounts either just put in your url and GO .

http://www.socialmarker.com/

Have fun . they also sell software but why bother when they only offer a few more SB sites in the pay version.

The website does not require you to sign up or anything .

Meh it's pretty crappy imo, and anytime i've used it I had to login to all the accounts..

found a host of them here

Went to the url you posted and had the same results as gtfokthx

funny alot of people are using this and for me and them this is what you do input the inforation click the submit and let it rock .

That is it .

Did you try doing that?

I mean honestly kinda wierd that you 2 have a problem where you have to sign up for the social bookmarks .

there is not even a place to sign up and input username and password to the social bookmarks . That is the weird part.

Maybe you guys did not read it right or something.

*looks all around on that website* Nope did not change still no place to input the username and password on any social bookmarking site .

WIERD must be you 2 not looking at it right or something

Hi Dudes and Dudettes

This is from the Q & A section of the Socialmarker site :

"For the complete newbie - the front page of this site is actually not that straight forward.

On the FRONT PAGE (under "how to use it") it should say something like:

Step 1. Click on the "Submit" button on the top right.
Step 2: Make sure you have a URL you want to SUBMIT.
Step 3: Register with each service as you go.

etc etc

I think what people seem to think is that they can just create a username for SOCIALMARKER and in the profile for that they would enter the username & password for each social bookmarking site...

Then, they would be able to just login ONCE, choose the social accounts to send the bookmark to, and BLAM - all done.

But that's not the case.

You have to click "submit" for EACH ACCOUNT. (not that there's anything wrong with that) - it just takes a bit of time.

Also worth noting is that services like roboform or 1password (mac) don't work while setting up the account for the social bookmark services from WITHIN social marker.

So, probably just create one username and the exact SAME password for each site (!) (to make it faster in logging in & submitting)...

But - then you've got the issue of less security etc etc etc...

Hope that helps people - This service is awesome, but not "point and click once".

It's free after all!"

Hope this clears up some of the confusion !

It may look like it's doing something but it isn't. I'm not sure you understand exactly how bookmarking works but: 1) You create accounts at each bookmarking site you want 2) You can now bookmark a URL under your account at a bookmarking site you have an account at.

The URL's/sites you see at bookmarking sites are entered by account holders, under their specific accounts. They may appear under different areas of the site but they've all been entered under an account.

Socialmarker will bookmark the url you enter at each site you check IF you have an account at that site.

*cough cough* Was point and click untill I found out why .

It was not submitting the SB .

I knew there was a reason why it was so fast .

I just found that out . For somer reason it is a problem on my end . Not sure what it is . Just like rss feeds I can no longer see through I.E.

But I use other sites with SB like this one but it is allll manual . But robo Form takes care of the hard parts .

Everyone was telling me ohh it is great blah blah blah . It is super fast ok well now to find out it has not been submitting them .

when it was submitting them on the redirect . It showed alot of SB sites redirects at the bottom but other than that a blank screen .

The redirects should have been me logging into that site but for some reason it is not letting me it is redirecting at lightening speed.

I paid some DPer like $5 to create all the accounts for me or just set up a roboform with the same reg details and do it manually. It's not worth it for traffic anyway, i've been monitoring traffic and the only ones that bring in some traffic are:

1. Digg
2. Propeller
3. Stumbleupon
4. Reddit

The main way to get tonnes of traffic is to get people to 'digg' your story or 'reddit' or 'stumble upon' it and you'll get a lot of traffic, useless otherwise apart from linking.

socialposter works fine.

Another free service is onlywire.com.

You do need to create an account on each site just like socialposter.

SENuke and BMD have auto account creating tools.

I used SENukes account creator and it works I can not comment
on BMD.

I've used Socialmarker in the past and it's OK, but rather time consuming, even once accounts are created. Personally I much prefer SE Nuke, and I imagine BMD is a much better service as well.

You have to create accounts first at all of the sites. Then on the first run with SP you have to log in to each site. If you don't clear out your cookies on each following run it will run through each bookmarking site very quickly. If you do clear out your cookies then you will always have to log in at each site.

Its a good service for sure, bmd is better though
