CTRTheme - Case Study

well as long as you provide more content than 200 word and thats it it should not really matter. if it is a mns then why care about user experience ? might be different if you work towards authority site but for mns I just want them to click nothing more. If they are not satisfied they are more likely to click then if your site rocks and you gave them every bit of info.

I always heard that you should had plenty of content to mns. I have "micro" niches (no that micro anymore) with 30+ articles based on a single keyword and it's variations. If I had to install CTR theme on that I would certainly increase the bounce rate.

Day 2 Stats

Day 2 CTR: 7.14%. It increased today :)
I hope it keeps the upward trend.

Hey thanks for doing this!

Decided to buy CTRTheme myself today and slapped it onto a 600-1000/Daily site that was having terrible conversions (0.25%>). I'll post post here if I see any CTRY increase.

What layouts and subtheme are you guys using? I just switched my blog from the genesis education theme to CTR last night. My old CTR was average of about 3%. So far today its at 4.82% over 560 views so far.

Im using the 2nd, light blue subtheme and only the first ad layout right now.

I'm using the last one that reads "Bathroom Remodeling" and added custom menu navigation. I'm still trying to figure out how to display full posts instead of excerps without pictures on older posts.

I have CTRTheme on two of my websites, and my CTR is 6%-8% its great!

Day 3 Stats

No clicks today :(
0.00% CTR

Just woke up, overnight i've gotten 7 clicks which is quite impressive. However my CPC dropped from 0.75-1.50 Euro to 0.30 Cent.
With heattheme I was getting a higher CPC, but still to early to say which theme is better.

edit:

Google updated my cache and now my site is nowhere to be found on the first 5 pages anymore. From how I see it Heatmap Theme has much better onpage SEO, while CTRT has a way better conversion rate.
My rankings from google pictures which give me 95% of my visitors have not changed (yet?) so I will still get my visitors and can see how much CTR I will have by tommorow.

Day 4 Stats

1 click - 3.85% CTR.

Haven't noticed any major changes yet. If at the end of the month the CTR maintains, I will go back to my original theme, which was way better for the user.

Yet another CTR theme study i'm interested in.

What was your original theme out of curiosity?

How does the CTR Theme contribute to a loss in rankings?
Is it because you switched themes?

This is precisely what I fear. I don't have definitive proof; I can only describe my small experience.

I didn't lose any rankings yet, but I probably will.
Google can see that you have 4 ads and CTRTheme onpage SEO is not properly done.
