Anybody using No Hands SEO?

Just tried it, I have 2 questions:
- Which email address is the software using to post comments on blogs?
- Which text is it leaving as a comment?
- I tried the software once went in the logs to see check if the results would appear on the actual blogs... but nothing appears!? Why?

Thank you for the answers!

did you set it up correctly and hit play? you should see nearly instant feedback of "something" happening, especially with the bottom left progress bar too.

what like token?

hello! i just found %domainname% and i just read %title%, i agree wholeheartedly with what you said!

that would be cool.

Not a bad idea, I will try to incorporate this into an update at some point.

mine is freezing and not restarting, i think its due to a proxy maybe going bad i think, anyways it wont restart and i have to delete my entire database just to get it working again, this is maybe an error to check out OP.

Don't delete your database, at least back it up first. I am having major server issues at the minute and am waiting for the host to move it to a more reliable one. If the error you are receiving is something along the lines of:
"Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

If this is this issue it is because it could not contact the login server and this issue will hopefully be resolved today. Don't ever just delete the database as this contains all settings and profile information. If you ever have a problem that you think is database related please just send the DB to me and I will look into it and give you a solution.

Also if you receive lock-ups, slow-downs or crashes please email me all the detail you have so I can troubleshoot it for you and get an answer to you right away. I would hate to think that you had to start from scratch because of a little issue like not being able to login for 5 minutes.

It uses a random email address, I will be adding an email option so you can over-ride the email if you actually want to use a single email address each time.

The comment text is pulled from the included comments.txt file, the file contains many hundreds of thousands of spintax comment permutations. You can however add in your own comments file per profile by choosing the advanced option when adding your profile. If you are going to do this make sure you know that the spintax text is valid and that it is not just a single comment. Single comments will leave you with an obvious footprint and mean your links are not worth what they could be.

You will need to let it run for a while to see where the links are being posted. Without the use of a list of blogs that auto-approve blog comments you can only expect to get between 0.5-2.5% of comments approved. If you use auto-approve lists you can improve this to 60-80% or more depending on the list. If you are looking through the posted comment list manually you are very unlikely to find many confirmed links because of this.

Sometimes it is hard to see where the link is on the page without using a link checker. No Hands SEO now has a link checker built in so you really do not need to worry about it, just leave it running for a good few hours and then come back and check how many pages it says have confirmed links. If you haven't changed the settings the tool should post a comment and then check if the link is live, if so it will ping that page.

The 1.3.1 update file is crashing for me.

Yes that is, I am guessing, due to my server being up and down all the time the past few days. I have requested to have my server moved but it could not be done over the weekend, I am hoping it will all be moved and this issue will be sorted today. If you get the error mentioned earlier in this post please just try again in 5 minutes.

Update v1.3.2 has just been uploaded to the members area. There aren't any big changes but a few bug fixes and improvements:

â–  Fixed: Irregularity in post saving
â–  Improved: Memory usage should now be much lower after longer periods of use
â–  Fixed: Add / Edit buttons should now be enabled and disabled correctly when posting is active
â–  Added: Message to the Log when a profile is updated
â–  Fixed: Notification bubble when minimised now reads "No Hands SEO" as it should
â–  Improved: Error messages on loading app are now more descriptive
â–  Fixed: Support email is now accurate when being displayed

is there going to be a export confirmed links option? also if possible is there a export all (profile) confirmed links?

Yeah I can't see a way to export only the confirmed links.

I've had this running 24/7 for several days now, probably five days if memory serves me right.

There have been no issues whatsoever with this, it couldn't be more simple to use. It's truly set and forget, really.

There is one thing though that I noticed today that I didn't like all that much, one of my privacy pages now has 167 links pointing to it. Now I'm sure everyone would agree that privacy pages aren't normally linked to.

Is there any way you could include in a future update an option to input pages that you do NOT want any links to?

basically under advanced/website/exclude url list within the profile, yea that'd be cool, but then if you don't specify it in robots, even google will rank your privacy pages.(or they stopped? idk).

This tool looks just like what I was looking for. Recently, I have been looking for a way to automate my scrapebox blasts but could not find any working approach.

Now, this tool is set to build links on autopilot which is very handy. I gonna buy it asap.

As I read through this thread and after watching the videos on youtube, I see that one can create a profile for each website. And by creating a website profile. The tool will automatically grab all the pages on the site and build links to them too which is really cool.

To my understanding, the tool will use the same anchor text that I set for the site homepage when creating links for other pages of the site. I find this inconvenient because the different pages on my site target different keywords. And if I need to set specific anchor text for a page, I need to create a new (web page) profile.

I think it would be more convenient if one can handle all the different pages of a site under a single profile and still be able to assign different anchor texts that are specific to each page.

It just really needs the ability to export the confirmed comments, otherwise awesome soft.

Yes it will be coming in one of the updates. Im currently focusing on getting the server working again, the host has been wholly unhelpful so far. I think the next update will actually be mandatory as I might have to move server and change the login code. It will be coming soon but I need to get the server up and running correctly as a matter of urgency.

Yeah I can't see a way to export only the confirmed links.

Its coming :)

Thanks again Lanx.

This wouldn't be a bad idea actually, currently you can add a group of pages as a profile and have different anchor texts for each pages profile. It would run each group of pages in its own thread making it quicker but more resource hungry than if they were all in a single profile.

i just downloaded and checkout out the freeblog tool, is there a way to implement that into nohandsseo?
like say nohands tries to post, but then it fails, but notices that also it's within specifications
i.e.
(pr > [whatever we specify]) save for later
or save for later comment

this way, sites don't have to be junked and there's, i guess a repurpose for sites that cannot be autocommented on, to be used again for re-comment manually cuz of high pr, or even cuz it's .gov or .edu.

Why is it when I select "Page" there is no whois results.
When I select "Website" there are whois results.

Yeah I'm sure I can stick this in somewhere. Cheers buddy

Why is it when I select "Page" there is no whois results.
When I select "Website" there are whois results.

Whois sites do not accept pages they only accept domains so if you tried submitting a page to them the majority would just refuse them anyway. This is one of the reasons the tools asks for website or webpage, also the page crawling feature.

I think its a great tool, It just needs some things ironed out, for now it seems to just through a bunch of shit against the wall and hope it sticks.

You could say the same about the majority of tools out there.

Is there any way you could let me know what exactly needs ironing out as as far as I can see the tool is rock solid and has been for weeks now. I am not aware of any persistent bugs or a single crashing bug. With feedback I can make this tool so much more than it already is but I need details about what you feel could be added or improved with the tool.

People have told me they have achieved upto 20% stick rate with decent proxies and the right combination of search keywords and comments file. Obviously 20% approval rate without AA lists is not an easy amount to achieve by just entering your website details and clicking start but with a tiny bit of work it is very possible to increase approval rate.

Also AA lists are ten a penny now and are available on every shady part of the internet these days so there really is no reason not to be using them. With a decent list you could be getting as much as, or even more in some cases, 60-80% approval rate on your comments. With thousands of comments / trackbacks posted daily per profile that would result in incredible numbers of links.

As with any tool you get out what you put in.

I totally agree!

I bought this tool and I find it really amazing. Recently, I have been looking for a way to automate my scrapebox blasts but could find none. And then I stumbled upon this thread.

Now, the tool is doing just what I want i.e. putting my comment link building on autopilot. However, there are some features that I think will make the tool even more robust and powerful.

I think it is critical to have a feature along the lines of the scrapebox 'anchor lock'. I would like to build links to my individual pages using anchor texts that are specific to each page:

/blue-widget/ --> blue widget
/red-widget/ --> red widget

After reading the ebook, watching the videos and going through this thread, I understand (I may be wrong though) that the only way to do this is by creating a different profile for each page which is quite uneconomical and tedious. I see that one can add multiple addresses to a website or webpage profile but there's no way of locking anchor text to each address.

It would also be helpful to be able to add pages to a website profile manually. My site has a few thousand pages; most of them are tag, archive, category, etc pages. I may be able to exclude the pages that I do not want backlinked after they are crawled but it would be much better if I were able to add only the pages I want backlinked because there are fewer than the ones I want to exclude ---- and the tag pages are too many and would take a bit of time to exclude them one by one.

Another way of doing this could be to use some form of operator, for example ''exclude page if you find /tag/ in url"

To sum it up, my suggestion is that one should be able to create a website profile, then insert the pages he wants backlinked and assign anchors that are locked to each page.

I like the bad words filter as it allows me to get links only from safe neighborhoods. In scrapebox, one has to filter pages manually. There is something which I am not sure of, though. If I put the word 'casino' in the filter, I suppose, that the tool will filter sites that are about 'casinos' and also those blogs which may have comments containing that word. As I check my aa lists, I find that many of the blogs have comments that have words related to 'casinos and adult content'. Thus, using the filter I may end up losing on a lot of aa blogs.

I would also like to export only "confirmed links" so that I can submit them to my link indexing service!

And my last feature suggestion is that one may need to be able to control how many threads the tool runs at a time. This way, they can tune it to work efficiently with their system specs. And also if possible to be able to allocate different number of threads to the different profiles. Some profiles may have hundreds of pages whereas others only a few pages. Dividing threads evenly among them does not seem "fair" ;)

I know that some of these features may go against your goal to keep the tool as simple and straightforward as possible but I think you could add an an "advanced features" section; just saying!

For those who have not already grabbed NoHandsSeo, I suggest you should do so soon coz at $77 this tool is a steal. I use AMR and SB but many times I just get too lazy to feed them more work so they remain idle. However, with this tool, I don't even need to; the tool feeds itself and does not need me watching over it or babysitting it!

Thanks for all the kind words and great feedback. I wholly intend on adding a feature to link pages to anchor text but have not ETA yet, I will update here when I start work on it and have an idea when it will be added. The threading idea is also a great one.

The idea of using "operator" method of blocking pages to crawl is actually how it works now. If you were to add /tag/ to the list it would not crawl any pages that contain the text string "/tag/", it doesn't need to be full URLs for the page to be blocked.

You also are correct about the bad word filter list, if you were to put "casino" in to the list it would block all pages that contain any mention of that word. If you are not wanting a page that has a mention of casino you probably do not want links from sites with a backlink to a casino related site.

If you are offering a service that does not generate links from casino related sites then obviously this is a choice you are going to have to make, to use it or not. However if your intention is to build links to your pages then I would suggest not to block any pages, ultimately it is a bit of a trade off of using blogs comments and trackbacks for links. As a side not I tend to find trackbacks to be much less spammed than comments.

Thanks again for the great feedback.

*EDIT* I forgot to mention also that the export confirmed link options is coming pretty soon.
