Whats to do, build 1 bigger site or 10 smaller sites?

I have 10 keywords that are all in the same niche, household items, and each keyword gets about 3-4K each, and each KW has a few long tail keywords as well. Would you build one bigger site that included all these keywords, or would you build 10 individual MNS? The only thing Im worried about is with one site I wont get the advantage of an EMD.

Whats your thoughts?

Build one site and learn what works. Its not worth blasting out a ton of websites in the beginning. You'll be spreading yourself too thin and won't see the results with any of the sites chances are. Focus on one site that you've done solid research with and be ready to invest 3-4 months into building up that website.

Build one site and buy all the exact match domains and redirect 301 it to one site. Be sure to install wordpress and build a little backlinks and index it before redirecting it.

Ive already built 5 of these types of sites already, 4 of which are #1. They are also in the same niche and all the keywords are the same competition, same searches per month etc. I know what to do to get these ranked.

What Im worried about it gettin slapped by google someday for these somewhat low quality micro niche sites and losing them all and possible my adsense account. I know everyone will say just add more content, but in reality there is only so much you can write about a "toaster". So Im trying to think ahead right now and save me trouble later on.

IMHO it all depends on the competition

If the competition is high I will build one site and put all my seo work to it

if there is low competition then I will buy the 10 EMD domains and host them on different hosts, that way I will get the power of emd which can put you in page 1 with a low competition

Competition is low, the first 10 results for almost every KW is amazon, walmart, target, sears, etc with no onsite SEO and no backlinks.

I dont have the money right now to be putting them on 10 different hosts.

You can host on the same host no problem I guess

Or you don't have to start with the 10 sites just 2-3 and when you make money buy another 2 and so on

You build one site and something happens like a deindex, all your work is gone. I would consider making a few of them.

Humm, sounds like everyone is recommending individual sites, I figured it would be the 1 larger one. The only thing Im scared of with that is leaving a foot print with my adsense code, google finds out I have 10 MNS and bans/deindexes them all.

I'm not an expert when it comes to adsense but I know alot of people who owns 100s of micro niche site and are fine with adsense

I don't see any reason for banning if you didn't break there tos

Make 5 sites not small or big.
