As a lot of you know, I am only 15. I bought an iPad 2 with the money I had made from my business. I created a quick demo video for some restaurants in the area of what I could do for them.
Most people want to see the inside of a restaurant as well as the outside, however, most websites don't show this. I used iMovie to create a sample video, which I will post later, which I loaded onto my iPad and headed out. I left at 9 AM, with my parents driving, came back at 11 AM. So 2 hours, in this time, I was able to sign up 5 of the 8 restaurants I had visited, 1 of them didn't have the owner in shop at the time so I was told to come back. It is extremely simple, but the idea itself will make you a lot of money.
Just take a camera with you to take pictures of the place so that you have content for the "video". All I did was take those still images and made them into a video with a photobook effect.

Expenses and Revenue
-$600 for the iPad, tax and smart cover
+450 x 5 for five videos
2 hours of time

Total: $1,650

I just took pictures of their restaurant, the inside and stuff. Put them on iMovie and up onto Youtube. They were all extremely satisfied with the results, I will get the sample video up soon.

pretty smart dude. I like the idea. Your still wrong about paypal though. lol. seriously though, that's pretty damn impressive for a guy your age. Keep at it.

They paid you $450 to make them a youtube video? lol. smh.

I have seen this exact same post on warrior forum lol.
The only difference is that the post is pretty old and they didn't have iPads yet.

Oh well, it is still good advice.

This idea is show the client directly what he will get. It's really a smart idea, actually you are just that young.

I remember the similar shared story of a member here with the offer of making free website and charge hosting. He come directly to client to show what he can do.

no video was provided like the op said, unthanked.

It's been two hours, give him some time to upload it :p

Interested in seeing the video OP.

Also are you charging for any other services or are you really getting away with charging $450 for a simple youtube video?

That is it for that $450, I also do SEO and a ton of other stuff for other companies since most restaurants don't have all that big of a budget.

Do you take the pictures for the customer as well?

Your demo video has very professional looking photos. Do you have a professional grade camera or are you just taking photos with a point and shoot?

If you are taking the photos what model camera are you using?

Yes, I am taking the images. I have a Nikon D60 which I bought earlier for sports photography, you can use a point and shoot, the quality would not be as stellar.

what is your connection with the infamous (read:asshat) mugshots? Saw that your company made a logo for "reputation atx" which was the ghost corp that doesn't exist.
