Is this normal?

Hi all,

For the last two weeks I've been building about 500-1000 links a day and today I saw that now I've only 80+ indexed pages but three days ago I had 108 indexed pages and also I'm out of top 1000 for my main keywords.

I'm just wondering is this normal that Google has deindexed about 25 pages and my site has dropped out of top 1000, is this a Google dance? I was thinking this could be caused by link building, what do you think?

My site is 9 months old and I've been building links previously but only about 50 a day.

If your pages have been de-indexed, it is most probably because of duplicate content.

well ya i think the same probably your site has been de-indexed..

My site's content is unique, it's not duplicate, but what would be the reason for deindexing?

To much of pinging? That way i ruined a few of mine in the past...

I'm using Linklicious and it pings 200 links a day.

Are you getting your number of indexed pages from a search using site: or from google webmaster tools.

I have found that having a sitemap in google webmaster tools the number of indexed pages indexed is usually very accurate.

In search results Google sometimes doesn't display all even using a site: but if that is the case you should see a message saying that some search results have been omiited due to being close to the returned results, and asking if you want to search again showing those omitted results.

Here is the answer. 9 months - it's a pretty young site. You've been building about 50 links a day, and now you are building 500-1000 backlinks a day (I assume, those are blog comment backlinks).
I guess you are catching google penalty.

If you are de-indexed can you ever be re-indexed or is it basically game over forever? Like do you go into the penalty box for a period of time or is it life without parole?
