VIP section for Downloads and Money making

I don't think we or anybody is obligated to teach someone who wants to learn, I'll share even though I don't have to but the 'VIP' section would make sure some quality exchange would occur.

I'm new here too, and have no idea what's in some of the guarded forums,
eg VIP, entrepreneur etc.
I'd thought that's for most experienced members to exchange new secrets,
and probably what Michel is trying to do is already achieved over there (?)

Maybe what we should do is to have Michel in there (is he not?)
when he feel like to share something only with experienced members.
Maybe we should adjust the criteria to join VIP just so it serves its purpose.

I'd vote for a 2 tier structure instead of 3.

For the open forums, I enjoy very much the sharing and fun in here,
and sure want it to stay that way.
I can see there enough knowledgeable people in here,
and probably for newbies there's a lot to pick up already.

One thing is the post count requirement which causes a lot of these
meaningless posts.
I'd expect this will get worse when BHW gets more popular and
have more new signups.
Either lower it to 10 posts (then you'll have less junk), or make it
more restrictive, say 100+ char etc.

You know... there are probably quite a few folks that visit BHF (and other forums) who are fairly new to the whole Internet marketing game (like me!) and join simply to learn what others are doing or have done to improve their bottom line.

Sure, the downloads are great and it would be, without a doubt, an awesome privilege to be included in the VIP section. But I guess... just like a prestigious country club might only offer 5 new member invitations per year, the dues still need to be paid.

So I don't have any problem with Michel's suggestion, or anyone's for that matter, because there's some great stuff floating around in these posts. Just in the past two days, I've gained tons of value from reading. Yesterday from Ruck's blog and then today, pdaguy9 shared a great method. All that needs to be done is the implementation of one or both.

So, keep the great shares coming and I look forward to a time when I'll be able to share something of value with others.

It's just kinda hard to write an impressive, money-making post to share with others when you haven't done anything yet to impress yourself enough to be able to offer something of value.

As a newbie, I do not post a lot. I am not a leech or just here for the freebies. I dont post alot because I do not know a lot. What I do know has already been posted and I don't see the reason to post it again to build my post count.

I do have sites that make money from white hat, but everything I know is already in the white hat section. Once again, I do not want to post the same thing over again.

While I do download, I do not have anything new to share. What I do have has already been shared once or twice. I am willing to share, but I dont want to be seen as bringing nothing valuable to the table. I have seen replies to downloads that say something to the affect of "thanks, but already been offered". So I do not want to be seen as giving the same old crap.

I have paid the $25 (even though I was really close to the post needed to download). I did this because I felt like it was a way I could support the board. I would be willing to keep paying for access to get what I have been getting. I cant afford a whole lot, but I am willing to pay.

Just a thought!

Matt

I am down with this, this is true, I will be very strict and weary with my contributions from this point on, thanks michel.

I do not think this is the right attitude you should have. But anyway, your opinion is your opinion.

I think its time some sanity is sought re this thread, fist of all the forum belongs to the owner , surely he had a usp in mind when he decided to start it, yes there are people who do not contribute as much as others and its the same in any other forum, what you have to ask yourself is why did you join this forum was because of the free shares, was it to learn blackhat methods and about blackhat programs, at the moment we seem to be getting an influx of newbies both wanting to learn and wanted a share of the programs which is understandable if your just starting out and have little or no money.

I came into the forum to have a look and then decided l actually liked the way members were trying to help each other, both with advice and program sharing, but as of late we seem to want not to help the people who need it or share the good programs and that is working against the forum as a whole and before you know it by having special areas for some members who have become elitest wilkl work against us as well, we all know what happened when the chinese built their wall to keep their secrets, they ended up behind the rest in the end.

It's simple really , if you don't want to contribute to the forum ...leave becuase we all know who those people are and we will decline to help them with either advice or program sharing.

One last thing, sometimes it is really difficult to come with a program share that is new as there are a few people in here who seem to able to get juust about everything.

Its just a suggestion, don't know if it would work, but what if you have had a program share, if you have it may pay really big to help others if you had to produce some kind of report or review before you could claim another share.

But please people don't spoil a great forum becuase of a few newbies who are trying to learn, the more toys we throw out of our prams will work against us . regards nicho

nicho change my idea, it is true every word, but there are still two sides of this thread and two sides of my mind. Nicho point is very true though! :)

Whatever.....

Fine if you all want to keep the forum like it is, fine.
One solution left, I have to get VIP status lol.

So a question to the Mods, what would it take to get that and please make it detailed so I know what you want.

Michel

I would like to hear an answer to this as well..

I agree FitnessGeek, I'm a Noobie too, I paid my 25bucks, but I don't have that much useful info to donate yet.
However, I am sharing my programs. I need some VIP access, but maybe something on a sliding scale will help us all. I do notice that when I look in the membership list that there are far too many inactive members. What we need is quality not quantity. Perhaps Dave should send out a reminder to these inactive members, that they have 14 days to use their accounts, and make maybe 3 useful posts, or they will be removed from this forum.

Randy...

nicho, that's a good one.

I will add... Why be sitepoint when we are like syndk8?

i do not know, if i think better 3 level of memberships-free, junior vip, senior vip- would be too much .
The noobs are right when they say that they should have a chance to learn. After all, this is the purpose of the forum, to help the others. Amazing new money making techniques are already selected by mods and moved to vip section, so that they can be kept alive as long as possible.

Well said Nick. The junior VIP seems like it would somewhat shut the door to N:):)bies if I'm reading it right on learning techniques. I personally am one and I want to be able to learn all that is available to me. It seems it would cut down on the truly good information on the open forum and that would be ashame.

It is exactly what another poster said, I don't have a lot to contribute technologically yet but I want to learn as much as I can and as fast as I can. I have some ideas but not sure if they will work yet. I don''t want to steer anybody in the wrong direction by simply making posts to gain junior VIP status.

just my 2 cents

nobody willing to talk about how people can achieve VIP status? is it by personal invitation?

I think a VIP section for this forum is a MUST. I just wish I could be a part of it. I've been a member here for 10 months now. Yeah I guess I could spam this forum with clickbank products, is that what it takes?? Anyways I wish I would have been involved here back in myspace days. Thats probably when I could have contributed the most here. Without any help I made $60k spamming that site.

No dude you need to get in your knees and blow all mods and Dave, JK I have the same question? I'm guessing only big time moneymakers are allowed in it, or maybe the more experienced webmasters.

If that is the case, I would like to know what "big time" is and "more experienced".

Same here, that was a just a guess.
also I am surprised they haven't invited you, since you have a pretty golden star underneath your name.

I don't know what the criteria are.
All I know is that I have shared enough here, made money making posts,
made software and offered it cheap, gave away 50 free membreships and
helped people.

That isn't enough, fine by me, but I would like to know what will be enough.
I'm not going to beg for it, I just sit back and see what happens.
If I know what the criteria are, perhaps I will go after it.....

And that star says nothing, everybody can get one.
