I just won a domain which has domain age of 13 years, 12k backlinks (98 referring domains) and PR 3.

Any idea what it's value is? I think i got a real bargain this time. Also would it be able to handle scrapebox blasts (not too aggressively)?

I got it for $51

Thanks all ;)

Hope you have checked that its the original pr mate.. Now starting building your site slowly..

Add some good content over a week and after that start blasting it.. Yes, since it is an aged domain it will handle blasts.. but dont be too aggressive..

Since it is an aged domain, you have the added advantage.. but hey that doesnt means that you can spam the site to hell..

my 2 cents..

thats a steal. good work.

I've had success in taking aged domains, creating subdomains and having them rank well. The age + previous backlinks lets the website rank higher with less work - a lot less work.

now build a site and build backlinks.

yup ive planned just that :) also i checked to make sure the PR was real b4 purchase so no problem there. I'm getting a friend to write me 2 x 1,000 word articles every week and i'll be adding some articles too.

who knows i might even start up a journal if people are interested.

currently have 2 other authority site projects running but this is the first aged domain :)

Nice pick up. Every once and awhile we all get lucky! You can definitetly build your site much faster. It's hard to say what the value of it is without researching the links, keyword/domain name, etc... I would flip it and put the money towords some new software, but that's just me.
