We should be able to insert a code like that:
(It's from CakeSlice)
Code:
<div style="overflow: hidden; width: 395px; height: 193px; position: relative;" id="i_div">
<iframe name="i_frame" src="URL" style="border: 0pt none ; left: -254px; top: -269px; position: absolute; width: 1280px; height: 649px;" scrolling="no"></iframe></div>

meathead,

I also really interested in cakeslice.
An example for email submit offer, can your software iframe the offer & cakeslice it which only showing the email form & submit button of the offer?
Then this this will prompt out as content locker.

This would be very great feature.

Would you please advice whether you've this feature?

Hi there,

We haven't actually tested CakeSlice, so can't say for certain. It should work, though. If it doesn't, it will definitely be included in V2.0 which should be out in about 2 weeks (the price will be going up by then). If you buy now, you'll get a free upgrade to V2.0 and will save yourself $200.

Thanks!
Thomas

Hi,

first of all, my huge and honest congratulations to the coders and devs, not only for the tool itself (which I am about to purchase), but also for the professionalism, dedication and competency demonstrated in their responses!

I have read carefully all comments and responses on this Topic.
I am VERY CLOSE to purchase, I just need to clarify few details before proceeding (actual questions are in bolded yellow - question 5 is more for BHW users).

1. You mentioned that we need a domain where CLP will be hosted.
Can this be installed on an added domain under a main domain?
To make myself clearer:
- I currently own a domain A + host plan
- I purchased another domain B that I added to domain A as an added domain
- As a consequence, files for Domain B are subfolders of Domain A
- For a number of reasons I won't bother you with, I am not wiling to install CLP right under Domain A

2. You also mentioned that the referrer will be blanked, but the Network will see the domain where CLP is installed.
Can you explain this better?
If the referrer is blanked, how can they see the domain?
Probably you mean that they know about my domain as this is where my postbacks will go?

3. Referrer blanking.
I know you explained many times throughout the Topic all we need to know about this issue.
I (think I) know all I should about covering tracks, sending WH traffic etc... to avoid networks closing my account.

Still... if CLP blanks the referrer, and I am 100% sure it does it right... what is the need to send WH traffic and cover tracks, apart from lowering the EPC which is not even required, if CLP is used sensibly?

4. I have no intention to phishing information, but I would really appreciate if you could PM me the list of your recommended networks, so I could
a. see if I am already into some of those
b. prepare myself to action and get into the ones I am not already in.

5. Any people here having used CLP and being challenged by their AMs on the blank referrer thing?
You may want to PM me for that, especially to see if you were using the networks that CLP recommends or other networks.

More in general, it would be good if we users, and I will do once I will be using CLP, could share experiences using CLP with various networks.

Thanks in advance and sorry for the long post.

Yes, it should be no problem at all, however, CLP is better placed in its own hosting account. Our support email address, in the post above, can give you further advice on this.

You answered your own question here :) The CLP installation path will become a part of the postback urls you hand to your Networks, so our advice is to use some sort of "tracking" domain, so you can then say this is where you host your tracking systems.

3. Referrer blanking.
I know you explained many times throughout the Topic all we need to know about this issue.
I (think I) know all I should about covering tracks, sending WH traffic etc... to avoid networks closing my account.

"Used sensibly" generally means being careful about what you send to Networks. Surfers who completed offers to gain access to content (i.e. locking traffic) are incentivised - they didn't complete the offer because they wanted what was offered, they completed it for an incentive (access to the content which was locked).

It's well-known in the industry that incentivised leads imply poorer conversions on the backend for the advertisers, which is why many of them don't want these leads.

Regardless of whether blanking or not, if all you do is send incentivised leads, which result in exceptionally poor conversion rates on the advertiser's backend, you will be asked to stop promoting that advertiser.
There are two ways to get around this:

a) Mix in some WH traffic, so the backend conversions improve (cover the cost with what you make from your BH activities), and/or
b) Spread everything out thinly, make $10-$20 a day per network, across 20-30 networks, as opposed to $300-$100 per day on a single network. Spread things, in a similar fashion, across advertisers/offers.

4. I have no intention to phishing information, but I would really appreciate if you could PM me the list of your recommended networks, so I could
a. see if I am already into some of those
b. prepare myself to action and get into the ones I am not already in.
Will send you a PM. Please bear in mind that we don't recommend networks because they are happy to accept content locking traffic (most aren't), it's more because they are decent networks, who offer good support, good payout terms, and don't shave/scrub that much.
5. Any people here having used CLP and being challenged by their AMs on the blank referrer thing?
You may want to PM me for that, especially to see if you were using the networks that CLP recommends or other networks.

Check my username for threads started by me, and you'll see one which proposes a discussion on ref blanking vs faking.
One of the cons in blanking is that you WILL get asked questions. There are none which can't be dealt with if you know what you're doing, and you keep it professional.

Again, regardless of questions asked, and answers provided, if 100% of your traffic is of very poor quality, you will either be asked to stop promoting campaigns, or you will be banned from networks.

More in general, it would be good if we users, and I will do once I will be using CLP, could share experiences using CLP with various networks.
This is a sales thread, and the purpose is to respond to pre-sales questions.
We have a private buyer's area where our purchasers do share experiences, and we'll look forward to welcoming you there.
Thanks in advance and sorry for the long post.

You're welcome - no need to apologize :)

Thanks for that.
Looking at the responses given so far on this Topic, I am not surprised to receive your prompt and exhaustive responses ;)

CUT

.... so our advice is to use some sort of "tracking" domain, so you can then say this is where you host your tracking systems.
Sorry for cutting, but the combination of these 2 responses raises another small and noob question.

Is it that normal for Internet Marketers to have a tracking system?
To track what, just to be prepared to AMs questions? :D

I may be mistaken, but I think you mentioned earlier in the Topic that you "negotiated" with them.
I thought this negotiation is to propose CLP to users so they can perform better for networks.

By content locking traffic I guess you mean "custom content locking", as we know that some of those do provide their own CL so they should be indeed happy with it.

As a final note, I do apolgyze for the occasional wrong choice of terms.
As you should have guessed, English is not my mother language :)

It's definitely normal, but further discussion regarding the whys and wherefores is best continued outside of this thread. Feel free to PM.

Very few, if any, of the Networks we recommend provide their own gateways. They are recommended because of the length of time they have been around, the way they treat Publishers, and the quality of the offers they provide.
A couple do have lockable offers, and are openly happy about locking, providing you lock legit content.

As a final note, I do apolgyze for the occasional wrong choice of terms.

It doesn't need to be, to make good $$$ in IM, lol

I replaced CLP with my BHCB, I think in a few days I will see the result of it!
But till than, I must say something:

The support is absolutely INSANE! The support and contact itself is worth MUCH more than the 97$ I've paid!

Thanks for the great support!

I'm looking foward to the version 2.0 and I'm sure this update is going to be freaking nice! We'll see how many features the users requested will be implemented there;)

HUGE Vouch for ContentLockPro.

Amazing product which does what its supposed to. Also support is great. They answer emails within a few hours without hassle`s. Solving any problem. Also the private section is great for newbies.

All in all. This product is well worth the $97!

meathead,

2 last questions before I decided to buy.
I'm not sure whether these questions been posted before.

1) Do you have fake referrer feature? An example I want to fake that the traffic is coming from my whitehat site.

2) Any feature that could capturing the visitors email once they submitted the email offer. So, with this feature in the same time I could collecting emails list.

Thanks.

Just bought this too and have sent an email to support asking for validating the license under my domain since I missed the part where it mention to use http:// along with the domain name.
