SEO Wiki Hijacking

Most of them are protected but it's still good for a few here and there!

Awesome tip! Make sure you use proxies when editing as a guest, because your IP is logged and can be seen in the history tab.

hello and thanks for this info, i didn't know about this site.
I know about this injection since i had find some competitors, which injected in some drupal sites. For injecting its better to use freeblogs, and not your "not whois-protected" domains?

Hmmm im in but dont see how to add a link? anyone have a tut on wikispaces?

Most seem to be protected and im guessing protected ones can not be edited

That's why -protected is a part of the query.

Not all wikis are nofollow.
And plus, in the long run it's not about do or not do follow links..a link is a link period..some may be weighted more, but still it's a link ;)

Do you know if the original creator gets a change verification email or something. I want to do this for a small business, but I don't want it traced back, haha.

And remember to protect your own wiki pages.

OP: thanks and +3 rep for the info.

I have never used wikispaces before for backlinking. I assume by saying to "protect" your wiki pages, there is an option somewhere if you log in to elect for only individuals who have also logged in to make a change to the page - correct? Can that be done on someone else's page that you've simply changed a link to?

You can only lock pages you own. I lock all my posts on all wikis to avoid
exactly what I described.

Especially with PR :) I didn't think about actually using Scrapbox to filter
only pages. with PR. Thanks to those who contributed to the thread.

Nice way to edit high PR pages and put in any link you want. Use Scrapebox to find PR4 or above, add your own link, etc. :)

If we change something on those pages, is there any notification goes to the creator of that page? If it goes they will edit again...:(

Lol, I'm hit! Someone just replaced my URL with his URL, very same keyword.

Ok, payback time. :D

Make sure you only promote your own sites. I got people pissed
and following a link and contacting me via the website, lol ;) Not
good for a customer site.

But the majority of SENuke created pages are public and nobody
receives any notification.
