Suggestions on how to target edu/gov backlinks

I see that edu and gov backlinks are very important in establishing your domain as an authority site. Does anybody have any suggestions on how to go about targeting edu/gov backlinks?

I see that since i have attracted the LMGTFY response..I will rephrase my question...

Has anybody identified a good strategy for getting backlinks from edu/gov sites? Whether it be posting in student forums. Commenting on general blogs that they run...etc?

I definitely appreciate the search tutorial too, that was awesome..I'm gonna take a screenshot of it and run time machine right away so i never lose it

play around with google search operators they're really good in finding places to have backlinks

well if u have the $$, u can pay some one around to build backlink on gov/edu sites..

Search at BHW and you will get some good links of .edu and .gov link. But if you want to get some very good secret links you have to spend $$.Go to buy/sell section and you will see some service about .edu & .gov.
