smellycat,

If you're really trying to help, may I suggest you elaborate a little? The OP was obviously only trying to help people, and who knows, if you have stuff that works better, I'm sure the OP, along with everyone else, would also appreciate knowing!

Well feel free to share your method. Loads of people saying stuff "I make 1k a week" but not that many people sharing their method.

About the product name; The 2 points I made apply to 90% of the amazon products. I'm sure there are a couple of products where the company doesn't dominate the SERPS and people who search the product name are looking to buy it. But with most products this isn't the case, that why I suggest people to stay away from product names.

How much are you making per month? Also I feel that is good to promote low ticket items to boost your % sales commission for the month.

How many websites do you have? What are your earnings? You didnt get hit by panda with so many affiliate links? Whats your CTR to Amazon?

I don't agree about product names. They usually convert better than other keywords. People who search "keyword reviews" or something similliar they are still deciding which item to purchase. People who search for product names they already know what they wanna buy, they just want some little more information before they buy. But its not recommended to have product name in domain coz copyright name.

Very well explained! And yeah, Market Samurai is a great tool. The keywords we finally end up with are truly "gold nuggets". :)

What's nice here is that everything is pulled together and presented neatly. Even noobs may know some or all of the components, but having it all in a clear and concise plan is great.

thanks for the great guide, anyone know where i can find market samurai

Well yeah if people searching for 'keyword reviews' than they are looking to buy the product. But from my personal experience I notice that most of the time people are looking for drivers, manuals etc. And the amount of people that are actually looking for the "product reviews" is useally too low ( below 1k searches ).

That why it's wise to enter the keyword in google and see what google comes up with. If it says: "Keyword review", "Keyword cheapest price" etc than it's a good keyword. But if it sais "Keyword driver", "keyword manual" etc you should stay away from it.

Thanks for the copyright thing, forgat about that one. Added it to the list + credits to you.

This is a great guides mate.. was looking for this tips.. I'm planning to start promoting some amazon's products but can't find the easiest way to market their products.. I will try to implement your methods and let's see what's the results. Thank's for the great tips again! Thanks button has been hit :)

I think the status of the top 10 ranking competetion site is more important then the SEOC and SEOT, SEOC and SEOT has very little velue to refer to but just could not neglet it..

I agree. A few post above I have already stated that I use the SEOC & SEOTC to get a a couple of potential keywords. I then look at the top 10 in marketsamurai and pick the one with the lowest competition.

Thanks a lot for this OP :)
How do you cloak you aff links? DO you use any plug-ins?

Thanks man, these really help. But why build bookmarking value for diversity but not scrapebox blog comments for diversity.

And I think google can tell if you link to pages that link to you at that level (20k comments)

But if it works for you, then it works.

I don't do scrapebox to a new website because of the risk of getting sandboxed. If the site is a couple month old and I have already done backlinking I do SB blast directly to the site.
