Would You Scam a Scammer?

Quote from movie K-PAX :

Prot: Let me tell you something, Mark. You humans, most of you, subscribe to this policy of an eye for an eye, a life for a life, which is known throughout the universe for its... stupidity. Even your Buddha and your Christ had quite a different vision, but nobody's paid much attention to them, not even the Buddhists or the Christians. You humans. Sometimes its hard to imagine how you've made it this far.

scammers get scammed. live by the sword, die by the sword.

yes i wouldn't even think twice about it. ive actually done this before, lol. nothing really special here, but some dude was doing some manual ewhoreing in a yahoo voice chat room a couple years ago that i was in. well, to keep this story short, i told the person i knew what they were up to and said if you fill something out for me, ill do the same in return (person was pushing a dating offer on me). the person agree'd and i gave him a link to a $10 1st page submit cpa offer for a auto warranty quote and told him what to do. he did it, then i made fun of him and talked quite a bit of shit, then i blocked the person and went about my conversation i was having before i was rudely interrupted by this dipshit.

nothing miraculous, but ive scammed a scammer before. lol...

There is a difference between me and the scammer..and I want to maintain it!

if anyone is looking to start a site where you *scam* scammers I have two good domains :0 I thought of doing this years ago..

names are:

prankscammers.com
punkscammers.com

At least you guys are being honest. Thanks.

For me it I think it's going to have to depend on the situation,

Gotta say though it's tempting, and they deserve much worse.

No one likes to be taken advantage over.

When I was 14-17 yo, I actually made decent income scamming scammers. It was the most satisfying feeling. Playing a gullible 15yo can make you wonders ^^

I'm intrigued. There seems to be a consensus towards decency in the replies here.

Why? Honour among thieves? Fear of greater retribution? Karma?

Now the preachers of Karma make no sense to me, in this context. Somebody, concerned about such spiritual ideas should not be on this forum in the first place. Nobody ever found this site without a selfish aim in mind, if it's to preach to the heathen the words will fall on stony ground.

Honour among thieves? No such thing, ask any criminal ;) Under interrogation 72% of criminals give away their accomplices within two hours.

Fear of retribution is a valid excuse for turning tail and running, in my humble opinion. Sometimes you need to know when to walk away.

There is one other reason though, if you learn something from the scammer and it benefits you. If you take in how they scammed you and can turn it around to your own advantage in some way, you may even end up grateful for the experience.

I actually wouldn't. I wouldn't gain any satisfaction or gratification from it and all for a couple of bills, that I could make with some hard work. No thank you.

I'm a believer of karma - and I totally understand your view point; however things and situations break down into a more complex and contradictory explanation. Although I'm sure that although alot of people come here with selfish aims they would not do something that severely hurt/damage the third party. If they do then that's my poor judgement. Key word : most
:P

Well the biggest hmmmz point is the question of morality and where you stand in the spectrum of it.

Edit:
As I don't believe in karma, I feel discussing about it goes with this topic. I find it quite hard to find legitimate answers to karma related questions w/o the god argument. Which goes something like "you can't disprove god".

How is a deed scaled on the karma spectrum? Any decision you make, should go on the karma scale. If its something meaningless like eating a cookie or taking a zip of your coffee, its meaningless and goes near zero on the scale. Giving a kidney to save someones life however is at the other end of the spectrum.

Also, any decision/deed one makes, might be purely to gain karma. If so, where should that go? I gave 5 bucks to a homeless guy because in my mind I though "karma will love this one!!!". Although I did a good deed, it didn't came from the heart, and shouldn't go to the karma scale, or if, then on the negative scale. Having deeds that are done for gaining karma, aren't really karma worthy deeds, and its basically "scamming" the good-hearted people who do good things simply because they are good.

Karma is something that people made up for themselves.

Are you kidding me? You think people on this site are only selfish? Did you ever think that many of the people on this site have a family to take care of? Did you ever think that a lot of members donate a lot of their earning to charity?

No every person who wants to make money only is a selfish and wasteful idiot who only cares about driving flashy cars and living a playboy lifestyle. Some of us work as hard as we can and live very meager lifestyles and give the rest of our earnings to people in need, whether it is our family, friends or charities.

Some of us earn the money for the thrill of it. For me, I really don't care about fancy vacations, flashy cars (I dont even have a drivers license), fancy clothes (I shop at thrift stores only), I do it so that I will be in a position to make the world a better place. Sometimes I just randomly withdraw money and find people who need it and give it to them. Why? Because I can.

I hate seeing people in need. It hurts me to know that people in the world suffer so much. It hurts me even more to know that there are people in the world who have the power to change that, but they would rather buy a Ferrari or something. Granted it is their money to spend how they please, but I just hope before they spend 200k on a car, they donate at least $1,000 to charity.

Kickflip, you are a rarity buddy :/

The world is in pain and no one gives a fuck. It saddens me and the depression of knowing it overwhelmed me 2 years.

The only way to unfuck the world is to start a global revolution, which is very unlikely to happen. I love to see altruist like you who help the world. However depression changed me to a nihilist

For you. Don't worry, there are lots of good people in the world. Is this a lot of money? Maybe not to you and me. But I guarantee you the people of Sudan are happy for every penny worth of aid they receive and this is what I can afford to give.

Sir,

I have no idea about the demographic readership of this site. But I will stand by opinion and ask you to trawl back to why you first looked for Black Hat SEO? Of course we all have lives, problems and - hopefully - loved ones to think about and take care about.

If I have upset the delicate balance of your personal guilt then accept my deep apology, though perhaps gently whispering "you may feel more comfortable in a White Hat bannered forum"?

Otherwise, get wise! IM is Dog Eat Dog :06:

Yours faithfully,
STB

I do earn money but never in the cost of others. I do believe on karma and and I do believe you can never be happy in lieu of others happiness, because your tightly integrated with the whole world, as a human how can you?

tit for tat, eye for eye and the whole world will be blind.

You actually think that all people find this forum searching for Black Hat SEO? I didn't even know what Black Hat SEO was when I joined this forum (Or any SEO for that matter). This forum used to have an ewhoring section which helped people promoting strictly dating and adult video sites. That is why I joined. It had NOTHING to do with Black Hat SEO.

Stop acting like you know me and anyone else on this forum. A huge amount of the members here joined when they found this website searching for CPA information, ewhoring, affiliate programs etc. These things have nothing to do with Black Hat SEO.

Many members sell things here like Website Designs, Logo Designs, Legitimate Email campaigns, Article Writing services etc. Again, these having nothing to do with Black Hat SEO.

Maybe you would feel more comfortable trolling or being a jerk somewhere else because your generalized statements acting like you know anything about me or the other members of this site is lame and unwanted here.
