Linkpushing - lets see if it works with a real time study

So ive done nothing more to the site apart from those linkpushes.

The site has dropped to the top of the second page but its still picking up traffic from other keywords.

I just checked it using Scroogle and it's sitting at position #12 (top of page two).

Did you ever send any more link pushes to this domain?

It's a linking service. Just do a search for "link push" under the services section.

Sorry for not updating this in a while. I haven't done anything else to the site apart from putting a couple of affiliate offers on it.

It hovers from page 1 - 2 on co.uk for the main search term.

Its picked up other search terms as well...here are the top 10 according to awstats

how to loose a stone in a week15
how to lose a stone7
how to lose a stone fast7
howtoloseastoneinaweek.net7
lose a stone fast5
loose a stone in a week4
how to lose a stone in 5 days4
how can i lose a stone in a week3

So all things considered, i would say it is very possible to rank this type of keyword on a new domain.

I'm sure if i did another 3 - 4 Linkpushes and put up another 5 articles I would be at the top 1 - 3 on Google.

If enough people are still interested in this thread, i might just do it...

all my low competition keywords got google front page w/link pushes.. perhaps 3 pushes per keyword in 1 months time span... show on page 5 for competitive keywords... so still not much traffic.. thats were we have too mix it up... a little diversified ur linking building all of have too say...

The comment I would like some responses is on your backlinks - after the linkpushes, you are only showing 4 backlinks (5 including your own site) according to siteexplorer...

For the amount paid regarding linkpushes - Im sure someone could just as well do their own linkpush .... just my observation.

Any comments?

Sorry: I'm being an idiot - just thought about the concept of the link push and just realised you would not have a ton of backlinks pointing to your money site - but rather to the other web 2.0s.
So this then does seem valid.

Would love to see a Case Study on a new site - maybe Ill go and do that just now

I actually noticed that the site was only showing 4 backlinks in Yahoo. I would have expected to see more with 3 linkpushes because a lot more links were created.

I could do another couple of link pushes or hit it with a backlinks package from fiverr to diversify things. Obviously the fiverr package would be cheaper.

Let me know what you guys would like to see and i will put the wheels in motion... Hopefully doing this in the open areana, while perhaps not good for the site, will help everyone develop a technique that works.
