Nobody can be sure right now ! But if it does, its better to start early then catchup later on!

I like to stick with things that work now. I mean the hours of the day is too short, why waste time with something that wasn't proven yet. Seo/services are always changing, exploit the ones that work now and move on once the service becomes ineffective.

It definitely does affect SERPs. I'm running a +1 business (selling them) and my customers are all coming back for more +1's, lol.

My 2 cents is that is scales, meaning that if GWT has 78k +1s, anyone linked to those 78k (through g0ogle+) will have their search result affected by the +1's, 78k multiplied by however many people are linked to, means that the affect will also be large. On a different note, the fake +1's don't help me, because I need people to +1 my site that have a legitimate g0ogle+ profile (by having other people in their circles, it only helps if those +1ers have your potential clients in their ciricle). I guess I would say that it really comes down to what you are using your site for.

look, gaygle has added +1 to GWT...

so bet your a$$ it's a ranking signal, just like everything in GWT
