MY ADDITION TO THE METHOD

Some people are skeptical because the IP address geo location doesn't match the zip code. I'm not going to provide any source code and please don't PM me asking to help you.

You can find a script that will look up an IP address and return a XML of various info, including the zip code at http://www.ipinfodb.com. Now, instead of telling them a random 5 digit code, you output something like, "This is to stop automated software from entering my site, your IP show you are close to CITY, STATE. Please input your zip code in the box below to prove you are human." OR you can show them the zip code that the script returned and tell them it is a captcha. The zip code may or may not be their exact zip code but will be targeted to the IP address.

There are sites where you can buy only US traffic which will bring conversions through the roof.

Yep, it can be interesting. On other tip is just to not use zip code with this method, but other kind of offer (mail/cel phone).

Well I'm getting 80-100 UVs a day with no spammy ads all over the place. Content is well written for a large audience. Everyone can benefit from the tips and save themselves trips and money. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. I do believe that some of my twitter traffic are bots though. I submitted 2 articles to 2 article directories last night though, so I'm going to see how that works.

What did you exactly put in the content locker? And what is the content your visitors see 'under' it?

I can vouch that it works well. Just make sure sure that you check your P's and Q's. It's not as hard as everyone is making it out to be. LOL I'm actually a little bit mad that the OP is spoon-feeding you all BUT I take solace in the fact that even with the extra gentle toddler treatment that the OP has provided, most still won't take any action! #Thank you lazy IM'ers
