I can't but wonder why anyone would pay $1,500 to a kid to make 60 "warm" calls? I hate this kind of work but for $1,500 I would jump all over this. And anyone knows here you could get this kind of work done on any freelance site for cheap! All of this just does not make sense. And is seems like only a fraction of these calls were made and too make matters worse no business was generated from these leads. If it is true that the kid did not follow through a speak to all 60 of the leads then I would not pay him a cent! End of discussion.

Dude.. you missed one major point that the original sum agreed was $3500 a month and $1500 was agreed later on, more like a dispute settlement price. In the case of a performance based pay, you hold to right not to pay and get away with it, but in such a case, where the work was to be paid for and not the performance, the kid deserves to be paid! You cannot contest that fact; however, the quantum of the pay id disputable, as I might just pay a hundred or two hundred and say that's all you deserved
This WU should have been all ready sent. Shoot I could go online with my cell phone any were in the United States and type in westernunion and get the website address and click on find location and put in zipcode and it would bring up a list and store hours ect and get the closest one and BAM sent..

^ i lol'd. He hasn't contacted me since he "went to WU me the money" 4 hours ago. So I'm calling bs.
I actually wondered this too. What if this thread was set up to bring all of the suspicion of him to a head, and then get comes out the winner... people would believe he was legit.
Though even if he pays, while people will believe he has money they won't believe he has it like he said he has. He should've paid quicker.

Bottom line is he won't pay. He'll drag it along and squeeze everything he can get out of it, and then a little more. And this definitely wasn't set up.

Hate all you want, I am not going anywhere. I have told him I would be giving him the seed money. I am currently working on this and have notified BB. Several have talked to me.
tim was OFFERED seed money for his business venture because he was obviously not cut out for what I needed. He presented himself as a great cold caller (Offered to use him on a trial basis) Yet he was NOT EVER AROUND, with the girlfriend or at drivers ed. I have the chats and the emails. When he was, he barely did anything. If I gave you 60 warm calls that we had prequalified and less than half were called and the other were not and no sales were made..? We also let him make the videos.
I am not shamming, and I know I made a mistake by not going by the book and against advice. I was willing to rectify and I EVEN offered to help him with the paintball idea.
I have messaged BB and I'll see what can be done because even if I wanted to. my PP is locked up as well.

When Tim brought this on me, I was indeed traveling. Limited access, I asked him to give me a day. Then out of haste, I tried to do PP. It limited because of IP change.
You are right, I should have paid fast. My fault.
