Questions about proxies?

hey I got 2 questions about proxies

1.) whats the difference between private proxies and free proxies? And where I can get free private proxies?

2.) I am using a bot that requires me to load proxies from a txt file in "username : password" format. what do they mean by username : password format? i thought proxys were websites not usernames and passwords.

there is no such thing as free private proxies

theres payed private proxies
and theres public free proxies

Private Proxies require authentication so it would look something like this:

127.0.0.1:80:Userass

Public Proxies do not require authentication so it would look like:

127.0.0.1:80

You will NEVER find free Private but you can find free public. The free public proxies get burned quick though...so now I pay for both my private and (paid) public proxies.

thanks. do you know where i can get private proxies for a good price? i dont have muhc money. also, do they charge every month? or is it like a one time thing?

private proxies usualy cost around 20-25$ a month for 10

Private proxies are usually paid for on a monthly basis, and it depends on how many you're after and what you want to do with them.

If you are using something like ScrapeBox and heavy harvesting, I would probably go a few of both.

At minimum, 10 private and about 100-200 (a day) shared, which you could probably get a deal for about $30 per month.

There are some good offers from members here at bhw, one of which you are actually talking to (proxygo ) Or, you can go to Fiverr and find some offers there also..

The ones I personally use are from proxylist.co (not sure if I am allowed to mention who I use, but sorry to mods if this isn't allowed) and Rob is a member here also and seems reasonable enough

One thing, check the reviews on people offering the service, just so as to get a feel of what others think of their service.

It'll depend on what you will be using these private proxies for. If you absolutely do not need dedicated private proxies, you can opt for shared proxies (which are dedicated private proxies shared between a couple of users).

Personally I use 25 private proxies from squidproxy, and they work well for scrapebox and senukex.

well im i need proxies for a youtube comment rater bot. basically, it rates comments.

What I wanna know is, do you think i have to use private proxies for a youtube comment rater bot? thats my real question

I'm not too familiar with YouTube bots but I'm guessing you'll want a lot of them, and you want to be able to refresh them every month for new IPs?
If so, then definitely go for shared proxies since they're pretty speedy and you can get a lot for a fraction of the price of some dedicated proxies.

i need about 17-20 proxies for my youtube bot because i have around 17 youtube accounts. And I need them to rate one of my comments up to 17 votes.

You may as well pop over to Fiverr and grab a load more than that for $5

no this is not a one time thing. i will be using these proxys everyday at least twice a day.

and yes i need about 17-20 of them. can anyone give me a good estimate price on this? and where i can get these from?

The best bet for you is try a VPN I use it and honestly it the best $11 get it from hide my ass proxy.
