Which Project Management tool do you use?

Hi guys,

Project Management tools are flooding my google results. Does anyone use or know a great Management tool for SEO purposes?

If it's free I will like it more of course

ps: I've checked this forum but didn't find any clear result neither

Microsoft Excel

Seriously though, that's what I use. Takes some time to customise with collapsible cells and all that but I find nothing else does what I want it to do.

If you are talking about full on management with gantt charts and % done and even svn, RedMine is an awesome web app you can run on a server.

Excel? Not a bad idea maybe. Can I download a template somewhere that is usefull for an SEO project? Can't see anything in the templates section of Excel itself.

i've used MS project, after my fiance showed me how it works (she's a project engineer). i've found a good alternative at
http://www.ganttproject.biz/
open source and blah blah, MS project and the program i linked are based off the Gantt chart which is a bar graph simulation of time/resources and comprise of a WBS (work breakdown structure)

I have used MS Office and Project in the past to management my projects, but a few months ago I moved to a cloud-based solution. It's called Feng Office. There's a paid hosted version but I use the free open source version which is installed on my VPS. It is a complete team collaboration tool.

I use activecollab, though it's pricey, it works like a charm when you have a bunch of clients to handle. I guess goapp and zoho have some brilliant PMS too, which aren't too costly to start with.

feng office is not bad, its free..you just have to install it on your service... apollohq is GREAT although now that they are out of beta it now costs...wunderlist is free with a great UI but its really just a task manager but if you are clever you can use it as a project management tool (works on mac, pc, iphone and android as well)

JIRA. Accept no substitute.

It needs its own server to run (VPS probably wont do) but you can find a cheap dedicated for $40/mo to run both JIRA & Confluence off. Both tools are only $10 each up to 10 users.... and if you need more than that, then there's a good chance that you can afford what it costs to streamline your projects.

I use Teamwork and love it. Tried Basecamp but it was lacking a bunch of really basic features - like the ability to set up a template and reuse it.

Hey I use excel it is great as you can use different sheets for each project. I would highly recommend esp. When calculating Net Profit or even Gross Profit

I use unfuddle. It's really awesome for managing multiple team members, task groups, and deadlines.
