Hello,

I've started blasting some 2.0 web properties with Scrapebox using AA lists, and I am looking for some thoughts on the following :

When you are using an AA list, let's say 8k links. Do you remove duplicate domains (from 8k to 2k) or do you blast the whole 8k, meaning you would have your link on multiple pages of the same domain?

Thanks!

Blast the whole 8k. Even though you are using an AA list, that doesn't mean that your link will be posted to all of the 8k.

Websites change as time goes on...and this can mean daily. Even though a site is AA when the list was created, that doesn't mean that it is still AA a day later.

Blast them all in hope of getting your link on at least one part of their site.

Wouldn't that reduce the value of the backlink compared to a single backlink on the domain?

There have been many theories on this...however, a backlink is a backlink. If you weren't able to place more than one backlink on a domain, than social media and article sites would be worthless (which isn't the case).
But...placing mulitple links on a single URL does bring down the value of your link.

Either way, when you are initially posting, the more links of a site you have...the better chance that Scrapebox will have at getting your comment posted...since as you will see, not all of your links will be successful...and then not all of your "Success" will be backlinks.

Thanks Extreme, I really appreciate your input. No more "delete duplicate domains" for me! ;)

Should I even care the PR and OBL of a AA list?

With any backlinks you should. A backlink on a PR8 carried 10 times the weight of a PR7 and 100 times the weight of a PR6...etc.

Then...the OBL determined the amount of link juice your link will recieved based upon that URL - split up between the other links on the page.

While a "backlink is a backlink", the better backlinks you have, then less you will need to reach your goals.

Thing is: It's a pain in the ass to find these high PR/Low OBL links because they eventually get spammed.

Blast the hell out of the whole list.

Keep in mind that if you are using Scrapebox properly you should be linking to more than just one URL & keyword. I'd recommend linking to every page of your Web 2.0 site, and modifying the keywords used on those pages.

If you are linking to your money site also use the same strategy. Helps build more credibility/pagerank to your internal pages. Keep in mind to diversify that anchor text as well!

I am trying to rank for certain keywords that are located in my web 2.0 properties, hence why I blast those instead of my main site (don't want it to have to many spam backlinks).

Is the anchor really important when blasting the properties or can I just put a normal name and my web address?
