16 year old, wanting to start Adsense

Hi,

I am 16, and i am looking for someone to help me in starting up a micro-niche site with adsense. Not to be a joint partner but to help me start up with a simple keyword etc.

I don't need to be spoonfed etc. I know how to make a website with wordpress etc. Buy a domain, hosting etc. I just want someone to help me do keyword research and help me find an easy keyword to start with and how to go about it?

I can add you on MSN or AIM.

Please no hate, I just need a little learning on this and someone to talk me through it, if that's not too much?

Just think of something YOU like. Don't worry about keyword research. If you are making a blog, the best thing you can do is just pick a random topic that you actually care about. Sports, Food, Dating, Movies, Music etc. Your blog will have TONS of long tail keyword opportunities. You will have original content that you write by hand.

If you do 1 short article once a week on that blog until you are like 18, you will have a great established site getting lots of traffic naturally and free from search engines. You may not be making millions of dollars, but its a great way to get into the business.

Are you planning on scamming adsense? My best month EVER with adsense was less than $50.00. Adsense is not about quick money. You will not make enough money for a first car of any quality with adsense in less than a year or two unless you get very lucky. If you just want quick money to buy a car, your better bet is to offer quick services on Fiverr.

Lol bro I'm about your age and I've been doing this for 3 years. You're not going to make enough for your first car anytime soon (probably). I agree with picking something you're interested in. I didn't try to find any of the keywords I'm interested in and they're all really low competition with really high global searches. I was surprised to be honest.

Hmmm,
I am not into the "follow your bliss" theory, so I am going to give you an alternative view:
Find a keyword that makes money, and that you don't hate.

Most of the topics that make more than $50.00/month are not going to be about topics you are passionate about (a random example: "convection ovens" is probably not something anyone is passionate about [NB: I am not recommending that as a topic]).

If you want to make doing this your business, then treat it as a business. That means making decisions based on numbers, experience and instinct; not based on what your personal interests are.

You have a few links to keyword research methods, and one member has offered to walk you through it. Do that, pick a profitable keyword that isn't too hard for your first try. Then each time, try for something a little more difficult (and more valuable).

You will not be buying a new car in 3 months, but you can build a long-term steady income which can buy you a car within a year, if you focus on developing your plan.

Pick a niche that your interested in or you like doing (Like a hobby as such).

Next is to check how many searches etc it gets and Google keyword tool is your friend for this.
