Make Money When People Call You!!!!!!

here's a little something for you

first you need to setup 2 brring accounts.

next, you create a custom message and tell the person that this number has been abused and that your new number is the number of your second account.

what happens is that they dont have a pen handy to write down the new number, so they end up calling #1 again, and this time write down the number for #2, and then they call it.

On #2, you can send them back to #1, or give them a url or whatever, because you are getting 3 calls per caller on average (2 to the first number, and 1 to the second number).

now jump around on forums and blogs and post about one of the marketing gurus and how you had to fight for support through their crappy system, but now finally got their direct phone number, finally got help... list #1 number in your post.

i used internet marketing gurus for my target because they rip off people on such a large scale, and always provide basically no support, so these people start hitting the number like crazy, and to top it off, they are used to getting pitched for some product or service, so they fully expect it, and are even more inclined to listen to the message entirely.

finally, the internet marketing gurus become worth something to you. they start making you money instead of you giving money to them, and because it isnt their real number, they really can't get you into any trouble for putting their personal information out on the web.

On their site it now say "BETA TEST SPECIAL: $10 for your first 10 calls."

hmmmm

I'm hoping the special is to attract attention and they turn full fledged. This has been around for a while since companies began to sell ad's on their hold time for people to listen to, this is just the first I've seen where regular schmos like us can reap the rewards. Yahoo has a similar system with ingenio but it's not right for us right now.

some payphones do not accept calls, this has been going on for a few years...I think they are trying to crack down on drug dealers using payphones...you just need to find phones that work or use something like AOL phone that costs a couple bucks a month

No, they dont want the phone used for free. Im sure if cell phones werent everywhere they would have figured out how to charge for incoming calls.

Question about multiple accounts. I am not inclined to believe that the people with ten accounts have ten names with ten addys, so how are you setting up multiple accounts? I would think this would lead to your account being canceled.

Ahh.. the group setting. I see now.

try this see if it works for you, when a call comes in direct it to a voice message telling them to call you back and then go in and create a profile using there phone numbers so when they call back you make 5 cents for the first call then 5 cents for the second call and then 50 cents for them being callers who were profiled. Each user is worth 60 cents and if you have your phone ringing off the hook like i do right now you could make about $15 an hr its crazy.

What do you mean profiled? I missed that part.

I have put in a support request with brring, being creative in my wording and explaining that my phone lines are business related and have extremely high call volume, and asked them to let me know if this was going to be an issue for them. The hidden purpose of course was/is to alert them that my account will have significant volume, so that they can't come back on me later and try to dispute any amount of money they owe me because of high call volume. I'll post here when I get a reply. In my mind (as limited as it sometimes is) IF they acknowledge that I will have high call volume, they can't use this as a reason not to pay. So, if it works out, I'll post it here so that you will know their position on this issue.

Cool idea busterbrown. sort of daisy-chain each ad call to the next to that the caller is auto-forwarded to one ad after the other. Could be great potential in that idea.

I think a daisy chain would work but it would only double your average earnings (to 10c a call potentially). On apt ads I've posted people have been emailing the ad and listing their number to call, 50 so far. I'm changing the format on a test to profile their number and then respond to their email with a please call me message. It will be better than spamming if you want to get into it or at least a nice addition to the business model.

The question is can you get a profile credit after someone has called, in my account, no. I can't see daisy chaining and profiling working alone, you would have to read the logs, profile them and then hope they called back after the profile, if at all. Too much to chance and too much rush work for me...

Anyone get there first check yet? and how long did it take for them to let you know they sent it? i requested two checks already in the amounts of $25 and $10 still no word about when there going to send them has been a few days so far.

And does anyone know of any other companies similar to this? or have any ideas on how to setup my own business like this?

Thanks i think im hooked if they pay for real.

Yes, I got paid on 5 accounts already. One check came in a few days and the rest were scattered over the course of about 10 days.

I still have 5 more accounts that I am getting paid on and requested payment yesterday.

No, I don't know any other companies that are doing this.

I would not suggest doing this for the long haul. Who knows how long Brring will even be around let alone allowing so many phone calls per line.

They may eventually impose a daily limit to what they will pay on.

For me this is a very small side project that I spend about 10-15 minutes a day on. I figure you can make some quick money and then get out. I am not expecting to retire on this.

My suggestion would be to not exploit one account to heavily. I have 10 accounts and don't allow to many calls per line. I usually check each account about mid way through the day and if it is over 200 calls I will start to either edit the ads with that number and change the number to one that hasn't received a ton of calls or I delete the posting all together.:D

Hope this helps.

I wish it had an option to be paid by referring myspace members and not just facebook, i don't know of a facebook friend adder.

So Trump, you're making 100 a day and they're paying? Are you claiming to fundraise?

No, I just post ads on Craigslist as well as facebook and myspace. I post about 10 different ads per number ranging from apartments for rent to a free couch.

So far I have gotten paid on 5 accounts and I am waiting for 5 more. Not everyone is fortunate enough to have this many accounts because you need to send them to several different addresses. Fortunately, I am able to send them to my business addresses as well as my home and a few family member homes.

So I'm guessing since you have been paid they haven't questioned the high volume, this was my main concern. I'm sure your volume is higher than mine but it's nice to know I can securely increase.

If you really want some Brring numbers to get called, post some newspaper classifieds around Christmas stating "Cash for your used Christmas tree...free pick up!" A co-workers and I did this as a prank 25-something years ago on a boss that was a real tool:) He was whining about "100's" of calls the first day and he changed his number on the second day. This was of course before caller-ID, call-blocking, etc.

Back to Brring, the personal ad bit is running dry for me and I'm getting better results from rentals and too-good-to-be-true deals on "never opened" stuff like plasma TV's and PS3's.

Great method. I may have to try it. I have stopped all together with the personal ads because the ads get deleted quickly and the conversion rates are low, mostly they preferred to e-mail instead of call.

Listing apartments in NYC or SF in good neighborhoods at low prices have yielded me ridiculous amounts of calls.

One apartment in NYC yielded me over 200 calls in one day, Friday.

I noticed many of those people called back several times. If I had the time I would sit on Brring all day and everytime someone called I would "profile" that number and get 50 cents when they called back.

The Profile feature on Brring is when you enter someones phone number, name and preferences, obviously you would be making that part up. When they call back Brring automatically credits you 50 cents. I believe they are willing to do this because they are providing that person more targeted advertising.

Searching through a couple of accounts today I noticed that about 20% percent of people call back within a few hours or the next day. Some call back several times, especially the New York apartment ads.

Believe me it is tough to find a good cheap apartment in NYC, Manhattan so this might be your best bet.

The call back rate for an apartment ad in NYC was more like 60% and many of those people call back several times. You do only get paid the 50 cents once not more than once.

I figured if I were to spend an hour mid-way through the day profiling people on the NYC Apartment ads it would probably yield me an additional $75 to $100 a day.

However, Profiling this many people on different accounts may be a red flag so I may limit the profile feature to 5 or 10 profiles per account. If 60 % of those people call back I figure I could make about $40 to $50 additional with about an extra 20 minutes work.

Try this method and make some extra cash.

So do I. You could always invite all of your friends on myspace to join and maybe even make a group about it.

I really don't have the time to do this and am sticking with auto posting but you may want to try.

My volume of calls is right around 175 to 200 per line per day. I don't like to let it get above 200.

If you access the email most people for apts list their own number in them so you could profile it and then send them an email saying you are sorry you missed the call and ask them to call back, usually a 100% convert. You think 5-10 profiles a day would be the limit?

You can profile as many people as you want. I just don't want to get banned. I figure with my high call volume already if I started profiling like 100 people a day and out of that 100, 60 people called back; I am sure they would have a problem with that. Brring in my plans is for the very short term. I have gotten paid on 5 accounts and 5 more checks in the mail. My earnings are over $1,000 currently and I have already been paid $485.25 to date. Even if I got banned tomorrow and those other 5 checks never came That $485.25 was more than worth it, I have probably spent about 7 hours of time to earn that, which includes the first 2 hours that I spent setting up the method and writing all of the ad copy, working out the kinks, etc., etc..
So I suggest putting as little time into this as possible and try and automate the process as much as possible.

I reccomend spending no more than 20 minutes a day on this. Because if you spend more, say a few hours a day and have several hundred in earnings and get banned, you will be pissed! Please think of this as very short term, beaause when brring finds out they probably will limit payouts and change a bunch of stuff so be careful.

:D
Wishful thinking

I am sure if the sky was the limit and there was no fear of getting banned. I would be able to blast these numbers out to every classifed ad site and forum at about 100 ads per day per line.

I could easily get over 1000 calls per day per line. Figure 10,000 calls per day. If I spent all day and profiled even 1,000 people per day and 20% called back you would be rolling in dough.

Figure:
10,000 calls per day x .$05= 500 per day

1,000 profiled x 20%= 200 x $.50 = $100

Total = $600 per day. With 4-5 hours work, not bad?:fish2::cool:

You Wish! lol:)
