Crashed or anyone with Amazon Experience I have a small question.

1) I am doing this challenge on two websites. One is US based and other is UK based. Today I made my amazaon uk account for the sports site. And I searched some books for my niche. I copied the ASIN number and searched it on WP-Amazon plugin but I did not find some books.

But when I searched them on Amazon.com I got some other ASIN codes and when I searched these ASIN codes I found them on the plugin.

Now I am wondering what to do? My target audience is UK and I am getting the books on Amazon.com ($ payment option) should I keep the ones I found on amazon.uk and use amazon.com for the ones which the plugin cannot find?

Also crashed used "Override Locale in Amazon" as Uk in his plugin. Can you/someone explain me what is this?

Crashed can you help me with this? I am not pm you for two reasons.

With the privacy policy it is a requirement for google adsense, required by UK law and by federal goverment in the USA.

Well, obviously I wasn't suggesting getting rid of the Privacy Policy... I just wondered whether it would be better to rewrite a few chunks of it to reduce the risk of it showing up as a duplicate.

It is not duplicate content as your email, site name etc are all unique in it. Also as its a footer link and clearly shown as privacy policy google will not really rank you on it...

Rightyho - It looks like I may have totally misunderstood the whole "duplicate content" thingy. My assumption was that if Google picked up on dupe content anywhere on your site, it would (or could) de-rank the ENTIRE site, not just the individual page on which the duplication occurred. But clearly from what you're saying, that ain't the case... and here's me getting paranoid about making EVERY SINGLE WORD I publish completely unique. What a fool I've been!

Have a look on Constant Content too, to see what is "in demand" for your niche. Again, I wouldn't copy any of their articles, but you can certainly use them as a springboard for ideas.

Other sites & blogs dealing with your subject matter are also ripe for plundering - plus you can pick up tips for layouts etc from successful, well established sites. Be a magpie!

Oh all my articles that I currently have, which is 5, are all written by me haha. In between my time reading through these posts, I've typed up some articles for myself. I'll do what you suggested, thanks!

Yes, webmaster always take a couple of weeks to start providing stats. You will, if you are following the course already have stats on your site, so that should not be a major problem. And you can use site:mysite.com to check your indexing.

Is it okay if I scheudle the articles I have, and wait a couple of days after that for Webmaster to update? Just so I can get more topics to write about. So in those days of waiting, I won't be posting content, is that okay?

I'm at day 4 and I'm at the Advertise Here page.Now maybe I'm blind or something but I can't find the example on the challenge site and neither can I get a full glimpse of the whole text in the video because at a certain time it changes so how the hell do I write the text?

Great question. I've gone with short, brandable two-word names of 8 to 12 letters for my sites, because it looks more professional IMHO (and in the back of my mind, I'm secretly expecting them each to turn into massive billion dollar conglomerates overnight - ha!). I hate those long-tail keyword style domain names... They look really 'spammy' to me.

However, I'm intrigued to hear what Crashed says about the role they might play. My assumption was that since we're chasing social traffic rather than SEO (primarily), then 'brandable' is better as we probably wouldn't gain significant benefits from chasing longtail keywords.

I have two sites running through this challenge, and I appreciate the knowledge Crashed has given us. I view this as a long term investment, and I will create many more in the future. I'm a prettu prolific writer (in the actual sense of the word prolific) and want to build a blog network. If you can grow several blogs/sites, you can utilize them later for other promotions...thats my plan anyway.

Making good progress here! I've gotten $2.35 so far and 45 UV and I'm just using Google Adsense and CPA Lead. I've paused on Day 9 of the challenge because I want to get approved with MaxBounty and PeerFly.
