onlydomains is a scam?

i just registered a domain with onlydomains, but it says in the status column "pending".

then googled onlydomains + scam and viola..... is it really a scam? did i just threw 9 dollars to the garbage bin?

What ended up happening? I have been using them and had no problems - and they do have cheaper prices.
