Adsense CTR Doubled Recently

Has anyone seen this on their accounts?

I've had very steady traffic to my main blog for about 3 months and my CTR has likewise been very steady at 2%. In those 3 months, I've probably had 3+% CTR only a handful of times. My average CPC was also $0.40.

However for the past 1-2 weeks I've seen an incredibly high CTR, consistently ranging from 3-8%, while my CPC has decreased... so in the end I'm making the same pretty much, but I have no idea what this drastic change could be attributed to.

The reason behind this can be the removal of ( Ads by google ) from google ads.

You're lucky. I have about 200-300 visitors per day and barely touch a CTR of 0,49%-1%

I have 12.08% last 30 days. My highest day was 28%
