Rate my strategy...

Ok, so my goal is to make $100 per day w/ adsense (or a similar ad network) and here's how I hope to accomplish it:

1. Look for an extremely low competition keyword, one that I can rank on 1st page of google w/ just on page criteria and 10-20 backlinks.

2. Create a blogspot blog with the keyword in the domain, title, heading, etc and put up a post targeting that keyword.

2. Put adsense/similar ad network on the blogs.

3. Repeat until I reach $100 per day.

What do you think? How many blogs do you think it will take for me to reach that goal?

depends on how much each blog pulls in, but i'd say it'd do-able, maybe 10 that make 10$/day

If you go for low competition keywords you will get low CPC ads. Think about that while doing keyword research.

Make sure your content is unique. Most importantly make sure it is informative. Write your content so that the reader will want to look for more information. That way they will be more likely to click your ads as they will think it leads to more info.

The strategy is not bad but things are easier said then done. You will need much more then one blog and one keyword to pull in 100 $ per day.

This is not a strategy dude..this is what everyone else do...and keywords with "extremely" low competition has low CPC.Even if you succeed to get 1k hits a day on your blog,you'll end up at $10 a day (may be if lucky).You have to be a little bit tricky..make sure the keyword you choose has medium competition or relatively low..but take care of the CPC.Second,make multiple blogs..remember,for a single and new blog,its too much to expect $100 a day in the start.So keypoints-

1.Do proper keyword research.
2.Make multiple blogs.
3.Try micro niche blogs,either make or buy.
4.Place ads strategically.

Using the Adwords keyword tool you can locate both very low competition keywords in the SEO sense, that also have high competition in the cpc sense. Just take your time to filter out chaff to find the best terms. It might be best to start from a list of terms known to be high paying and highly clicked Adsense keywords, then find long-tail variations of the root term to get a low comp keyword for SEO purposes.

it depends on how good are your skills. Honestly, I don't think you will be successful with that plan. Investing all money in one project is usually, not a wise thing to do. I'd rather build around 10 medium websites focus on medium difficulty niches with good contents. I think your chance to get $100/day will be brighter.

That's the most basic strategy, it might not work as well as you expect it to, but it's very important that you try that you do, act - so you already have the right mindset. Success will come sooner or later. Good luck!
