Which is better, Blogger or Wordpress?

Im about to make a new website, got a pretty solid idea. However I was wondering which would be better for SEO etc, using Blogger or Wordpress?

I managed to get the keyword in the domain, I have unique content and I can get pretty much unlimited* backlinks.

Which platform would be best?

Either would work well, it's more about how your page is constructed rather than which platform you use. I've seen arguments on both sides that claim one is slightly better, but IMO it doesn't matter.
 
If you have no funds to work with and want a simple easy setup, then blogger.
If you have a cpl dollars to spend and want to fully customize your blog/site then WP for sure.

B is easy, free
WP is little bit complicated, heavier and u'll need to get hosting.
 
Dude every time you want to add something in your site on blogger then you have to search a lot while in wordpress you will find thousands of plugins.
Another thing that i have listened about blogger is that they can cancel your blog if you are promoting clickbank products on your blog but i'm not sure about that....
 
i think that blogger is the only free option you got to open a blog and start to earn something (depends on the keywords,content etc).
 
Blogger is fine for a while but if you stay with the site long enough, you WILL outgrow it. You'll just find that you can't do everything you want with it. For a starter site, it is fine; I think we've all been there.
 
Wordpress is sick.

So many wicked plugins, easy to use, update etc. Definitely recommend over blogger.
 
Wordpress is always better if your have money to spend on hosting.

Blogger is great if you really have no money. Free hosting, and custom domain is only $10/year. You can get around pretty much all of the blogger restrictions if you search enough or test some things out. I have blogger sites that look better than some of my WordPress sites.

In my opinion, everyone should start with Blogger and then as you make money and your budget grows, you can slowly move towards WordPress. WordPress is great because you have more control, you won't get your site shut down(which sometimes happens with Blogger.) There's also a lot of neat plug-ins which make your life a whole lot easier.

So which is better?
If you have no money- Blogger is just as effective as WordPress sites, just requires more work.

If you have money to spend- WordPress gives you more freedom and can really make your work easier.
 
Well its a never ending discussion that which one is better,I have tried both and both didn't failed,so basically it depends on your idea.

no i mean like literally- how do i add one backlink to my site- what websites do u recommend going to? I will have someone manually doing this daily, i just dont understand the concept of "backlink" where do i go to make one?
