I was wondering if the Jr.VIP membership is worth looking at.

Can any Jr. VIP member share his experience with it?

Also why even if I don't have 100 posts when I click on Donate I can send paypal payment for Jr.VIP membership? Shouldn't the forum warn me before sending money? If I send money then I will just get rejected before I don't have the 100 post limit?

its a way of giving back to the forum, if you have made money and found the info here helpful go VIP if you want to give back for all the help, thats how VIP membership on a forum is supposed to be seen, there is the added bonus forum......

Thanks, useful info! I agree with your point of view.

3 weeks ill be here 90 days ill be going blue right away, this place has been a goldmine to me and a serious eye opener i wish i'd found it years ago!

As you can see, I have not become a Jr VIP. The money is not the issue. I'm sure the content is there, but I would like to see more in the package.

I would like the Jr VIP section to include the ability to send PM's faster than one per 63 seconds.

Also, I would prefer to have a $150/year Jr VIP+Donor option.

But yes, it is worth $99 and is a good way to give back. I give of my time.

Just a Devil's advocate thought here but, a lot of BHW folks have already "given back" to the forum as evidenced by their high post count, no. of times thanked, rep earned, and i-trader. Frankly, most of the inventory of good ideas came, and continue to come from the regular members. Some seem to count "giving back" around here only if dollars are coughed up. And that's a bit of a one-dimensional way to look at contributing. So if the moneymaking ideas already available throughout BHW aren't making people dough, they are likely to not utilize the premium ideas in the Jr. VIP area as well.

I do agree with most of what you are saying, but at the same time, you and I helping others does not keep the servers running. I'm not sure how the mods are compensated but I'm sure the Jr. VIP and Donor section help with that and then some.

In other words, if bills are not paid, there is no opportunity for questions to be asked and us have the opportunity to answer and learn.

well like you said if anything your helping with costs so that we can continue to hang out here :)

Is Jr. VIP membership a yearly or monthly cost?

Also by buying a Jr.VIP membership do you get the opportunity to post service in sale/trade section?

It doesnt guarantee approval but it is one of the requirements to submit a BST. Either Donor Status or Jr VIP works.

i'm a super mod on a very big clubbing forum, they have a VIP membership too but the mods get nothing but we dont want nothing as its a hobby we are glad to help out with, plus the VIP fees help pay for a dedicated server for the downloads, we have the largest collection of "radio1s essential mix" its years worth of weekly shows the server costs must be big because theres thousands of downloads each day, so the VIP fees really help plus the VIP members get extra features like faster downloads etc so its win win

The way I see it is: is BHW worth $97? I've made more than $97 from what I've learned here. I was a part of a paid membership site with a forum and I've gotten more here than I did there. I'm used to paying for valuable things so paying for Jr VIP seemed like the right thing to do when I hit 100 posts.

The Jr VIP forums are good, less noobishness in questions and responses, generally just a little more grown up than the rest of the forum. People share based on their experiences not on their speculations or what they have heard others say.

That is interesting. As long as you all stay committed, then working for free as a hobby is good.

Maybe in December, HaRRo should have a special, "Become a Donor or VIP in December and half of the funds will go towards a Christmas bonus for the mods." I'll go for it!

7878 - See what you can do about adding a few benefits to the Jr VIP or Donor status. I'd like to send more than 1 PM per 63 seconds. The way it is now, I have to ignore many of the messages or sit and wait for the timer to get to 0.

Thanks for all you do!

I'm thinking of Jr.Vip too!! hope they have good things to offer in that hidden forum :D
