How about original hand drawn pictures?
These are amazing and I was thinking if we placed them in a quality frame and got some hologram "certificate of authority" made up with their individual consecutive numbers, then release them as limited edition "extremely rare, only 200 prints sold worldwide"...
Plus, if the artist is happy, sell the original hand drawn copy for a lot of $$
I also believe this could be scaled-up to include other 'official' merchandise, such as mugs, drinking glasses, plates, t-shirts, hats/caps, mouse mats, dinner mats & coasters, banners/posters, postcards, etc etc.
These can be things like TV/Movie characters (their actual characters), actors (the actors in real life), famous musicians, famous historical figures and other famous people.
Plus target more of the 'tourist' market with things like drawings of Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, Houses of Parliament, The White House, etc
We could also probably hit the niche market of generic linux merchandise, especially for mugs, glasses, posters and t-shirts.
If you are interested let me know and I will have a talk with the other person (because im not the actual artist and can only vouch for their work). They have no idea of the business world, they just want to be told what to draw and the rest to be taken care of.
