Having a website, business card, etc..

Hey guys,

Do you guys have a website, business card, etc? I mean, when approaching a dentist to sell your site, how do you show them your credible?

I currently have a few sites I want to sell. For example, one is a local dentist website.

Only thing is, I don't want to approach them and look like a complete joke.

Do you guys recommend getting a website set up advertising our SEO services, and also getting some business cards?

I have all of that, make sure you are a registered company and that your site is showing up first for your terms.

Definitely don't need to be a registered company if you're just looking to sell websites to local businesses, though it all depends how you're looking to present yourself. For me, I just let them know as a side job I create websites for local businesses to increase the amount of customers and sales. They won't ask for credibility as long as you have something to go off of. If you know many local searches it has, figure with a good sales page xx% will convert. Then guarantee them x amount of new customers a month from the website your going to make them. That should do the trick.

Not sure if I'm ready to register as a company. But I'll look into it.

That sounds good. My only fear is guaranteeing them x amount of customers. I mean, it's kind of hard to guess how many new customers they may get.

Its not a bad idea to have your company website and a business card when doing offline marketing.

It makes you look more professional and convincing.

It is all about credibility, do you just take checks as a sole proprietor?
