1st site, setting up keywords

Okay, I want to make sure I am doing this right.

So I made up a keyword list and put it into Adwords. Now, I grab the top 3 keywords in Global Monthly Searches for my list (and/or keyword ideas list) and start using them in my title and meta tags and in the articles to optimize SEO? Where else do they need to be placed to optimized SEO?

Title, H1, and a couple times in the article is all you need.
On site SEO isn't really too important anymore compared to the quality incoming links pointing to the page.
Meta isn't necessary.

Lol .. who are you kidding man? how can you say onsite Seo it`s not important.

and for Op: Use SEO Pressor with Wordpress and the plugin will help you SEO optimize all your posts and pages.

You saying Google's going ot look at my page and say "Oh site x has the keyword just enough times in his article, we'll put him higher than site y who used the keyword once less!"
Wake up, this isn't 2001.
I'm #6 for a term that's searched 90k per month and keyword isn't even in my H1. If I put it in there, I'll probably jump right to #1, right?
