I need to be able to fake an ip so its seems like that person is in the United States

I have already tried hide my ip 2008 but when i go to whatsmyip.com it stays the same.

Can u guys help me out?

You can use a VPS.
They are very good as some sites will identify that you are using a proxy. (When I was using a VPS, I purchased mine for just $2 for a month from some guy off DP)

I don't know if this will help you...but with hide my ip i have noticed that the ip changes with explorer but not on firefox. I don't use it but remember a friend encountered the same problem where his ip stayed the same when he check what is my ip thru firefox but changes when he checks thru explorer. Just my observation.

could you go into more detail on how i could use a vps server to change the ip?

It's the same as normal PC. Of course running on vps would be slower. If you want free proxy just download the software from proxy-firewall*0rg and fill it with all the proxy list you can find on the net.
