Google cleaning up plus one services

Looks like Google is cleaning up +1 points that are given from external sites today. That means, if you have been using external sites/services to get more +1 points to your site, it looks like you will have to start back on zero. +1 points that have been given from the actual page will probhably continue to stick around though.

Google +1 is only there to be abused lol...

1) marketers will use google+1
2) few tech savy people will use google+1
3) 95% of the internet wont care about google+1

epic fail project if you ask me.

Checked one of my websites now. +1 count went down to 2. Thanks god I did not invest money in +1 services.

I been using youlikehits and had 145+ yesterday

As soon as I read this thread, I looked at my website and I only have 9+ google pluses.

So for traffic to come to my website and plus it. I must be doing something right in term of providing content. right?
