This method could be twisted and could be of use to Twitter and FB as well. People are hungry for followers/friends. They'll definitively bite this. I'm currently on the process of coding this for twitter and fb. I'll share the script once done. Hats off to OP for such a great share. Cheers!

But why are you talking about coding.... I think you just have to modify the site design, some images, and links. No need coding to me.
