It is kinda funny how slow poster is only working with 1 thread at a time, and it uses 100% CPU utilization while running fast poster with 60 threads doesn't even come close to that.

It sure seem to me that the Slow Poster needs some work. I see lots of people talking about the don't even use the slow poster so I would like some opinions whether or not people use the Slow poster?

probabily your antivirus become crazy when you use scrapebox! I have some problem sometimes with avg

Thanks for the suggestion, however, I'm not using AV software... This is a throw away PC that runs this. It is designed for SPEED!! If it gets a virus, we wipe and and start over in no time!

The slow poster is a wrapper around IE. Whatever affect IE, will also affect the slow poster. Many times, the namespace handler was enabled, which can cause issues. Try to turn the namespace handler of ScrapeBox off (in one of the menus). It might or might not help you.

Oh so optimizing IE and getting all the Add-Ons disabled might help too. I wonder if going to IE8 or 9 would help?

It might help. I currently use IE9, and its no difference for me. I have not optimized anything related to IE, it worked just like it did with IE8 for me. Maybe it might also help when you email the .sil file to support. It contains details about whats going on and there might be a clue. You can find the .sil file in the configuration folder.

I've really got my servers running great!!! I'm using $7 a month server with 512K RAM and I've really optimized my internet connection and disabled about everything in windows Server other than the VERY BASICS!!! I know that is low, and alot of people are gonna say this can't be done, but I work on computers for a living. I've optimized these servers down to running around 30 services which is very lean. I've disabled DEP on all but essential programs and that seems to help SB run pretty fast.

I just installed IE9 and disabled all the add-on's and configured it for SPEED! It seem to be helping a bit. I've set the server performance for local programs and that seems to help as well. If anyone has any other ADVANCED SERVER tips that they can think of let me know.

I'm able to get 3 instances running, however since I have a lower amount of memory, I try to only run 1 MAJOR instance, and use the other 2 for small things like checking links, etc. These servers sure runs like wild fire with all the optimization that I've done and the price is right. I'll probably try to get a total of 5 of these servers going if I can. They only cost $66 a year with annual pre-payment. Ya can't beat that...

That might be because of the the size of the webpage you are trying to comment on. Sometimes the pages you want to comment on have 10k+ comments. This affects the system acutely.

I suggest you change the Blog Size Limit to 1500kb or whatever suits you.
