Signed up to GoDaddy hosting last night - KILL ME NOW!!!

Their backend is the worst I've ever in my life seen. I had to wait 1 hour 20 for Wordpress to install.

I'm now trying to view website traffic stats? Sorry, you can't do that, you need to go turn the stats on first. Fine, except their step-by-step guide is stupid retarded and half the steps don't even exist on their website!

To View Your Traffic Logs with Windows Hosting Accounts

1. Next to the account you want to use, click Launch.
2. From the Statistics menu, select Traffic Logs.
3. Enter your hosting account's FTP Username and Password, and then click OK.

(Did that, infact, that's how I got sent to their help page, dumb GoDaddy morons)

Anyway I finally went through half their website and found some dumb page to turn stats on, waiting for them to be turned on(thanks Godaddy)

I've never been this angry with website hosting and I've had some unreliable and bad hosts. That a company as big as GoDaddy can offer such pitiful rubbish, it beggars belief.

I'm gone from this god awful host tomorrow. It's a disgrace.

Mate, I'd be on the phone swearing at their staff right now if not for the fact I have 20 + domains with them.

I'll see about getting a refund but it's no more than $10 and I wouldn't want to annoy some jumped-up staff member without moving the site to a new host first

Sorry mate, I let the godaddy hosting and run away after the first hour of user interface labyrinth horror.. I didn't even tried to take the money back.. Next time pay attention at our fellows reviews.

Honestly the only place I can think of that is worse, is vistaprint (they dont even let you use html on th page, I couldn't add meta tags or anything, and the customer wanted to stay with them) needless to say I passed on the job.

I have used them and yes! awful..
anyway, the only thing that keep me for having the account is domain.

I get cheap price for the domain and got the hosting at somewhere else..
(One more thing... please read carefully on your purchase .. because I have been
charged something stupid... all because I didn't read... the night.. sh*t stuff)

I moved all my hosting to hostgator. Godaddys FTP transfer are so slow and their page loading time is horrible. They really need to upgrade their basic hosting packages.

Yep definitely sexier than HostGator but there really is no comparison, Once your online for a bit you easily realize there interface and sales attempts are just a PITAss

Good thinking, I did that and they shut my site down and did not get straightened out (moved it all) for 3 days, that was a good while ago but sure the have not changed.

try mediatemple.net.. been using them for years.. not problem.. WP install in less than 60 seconds...fully upgradable
