If you had 30k right now to spend on anything that was going to make you a great return on investment, what would you spend it on? I've bought domains & established websites before, but never spent over 10k investing in one particular product or website.

I've been browsing Flippa & looking to buy an established website, but how often do people get ripped off when they buy sites through Flippa for 30k-50k?? I noticed in Flippa they provide reports of the monthly revenue but there's obviously plenty of ways you could get scammed. Also I don't understand why some of them would sell a website for 30k that is generating $5000 per month, I would invest all day into this stuff if I was guaranteed that it would work. So has anyone around here bought a site from Flippa for a ton of cash & actually generated the monthly revenue that was promised when sold?

99% of the replies you get are going to be from teens who don't even make $5 per day online. Just saying.

Don't buy a site! Invest it into an offline business, you will only need like 5,000 of that too!

A true investor invests in what he thinks is worth the investment, not anyone else's opinions. If you have money to invest, trust your instincts. It's your money, you should take responsibility in where you choose to spend it.

My suggestion: Get Jr.Vip/Donor ;) I plan too, once I get out of the newbie zone.

I would do one of two things.

Setup an online/offline hybrid business (lead brokering to local businesses)
OR
Create a high value service that you can sell online with a huge degree of automation

invest it in a million porn sites. should make you good money.

Put it towards something that you have experience in already.
No use investing in stocks if you don't know anything about stocks.
No use buying established sites if you don't know how to do seo / maintain the traffic.

It's probably because the site is a one-trick pony i.e. they got the top listing on G for one good keyword for the past 2-3 months, and anticipate it dropping at any moment. If the site is generating traffic and revenue from many sources over an extended time period (1-2 years) then I would feel better about purchasing it.

Because they a) aren't making the money b) using advertising so they can 'prove' they are making the money c) use their own network to drive traffic/rank to the site then remove all the links once it's sold... .not a bad idea actually lol.

get a subway franchise and be prepared to do some hard work

If you are a girl, invest it in Boobs :naughty:

And if you're a guy, get a girl and invest in her tits :) the bigger the better

Yeah, I had the same idea with flippa, and never had the guts to buy something that is worth 10k, and is making 1500 - 2000 / month.

Why would anyone sell something that can earn itself in 6 months??

when I got that money I will scal my work to someone and pay him every month. 4x 5x etc

make your own business. make something long term that can make you money for life!

How the hell are you going to make him a millionier from 30k.

If you are able to do it, why dont you do it for yourself?
If you don't have 30k, that pretty much answers it, You cant do it.

I have 30k, make me one.
Hell I'll even give you an apartment, and a person to guard you all day long (not to run with the money). (you'll have to change the country, sorry)
You make me a millionier you get half.
You dont, sorry you cant leave. You'll have to wash dishes or something for a long time.
