Hey just a quick question.
A friend of mine (like i said in another thread) is an online music producer making beats for rap/hip hop/rnb etc artists and selling licenses on this beats (15$ leasing , exclusive 100$-400$)
Ive thought about spendin him some FB advertisement but that stuff is really expensive if you select your targeted group.

At the moment he is making with that music stuff around 50-550$ per month depending on - i dont know it seems to be random..

Do you thinks its worth trying by just spendin 50$ ?
He made promotion on a big music site (having a banner on the first page for 200$ a week) and got around 1000 clicks per day by doing that

Well, If he is earning 50-550$ per month obviously he is not earning his life doing that, and if he can spend 200$ for week on a music site to try, why not try facebook just for 50$ ? I mean even if nobody buys something at all, it wont be really big loss for him.

the thing is as far as ive seen on another threads you do only get about 50 clicks for 50$ on facebook - is that correct???

He's 17 so hes just doing that to earn some extra cash

If you want to try, you have to target artists, and use Myspace Ads ;)
There is a lot of starter artists in Myspace

Never heard of myspace ads before
where can i find that?

I think it would be too risky as the income bounces up and down. Target myspace or a different artist.

yea, I bought 3 beats already on the internet. Big business there men, but it should be quality.

You should take that risk :)
It's a good business, but like Sombrero said : Quality is the key

am i allowed to post a link to the page?
I would like you to check out the quality...

Did some stuff for south african #1 rnb artists ... people who already featured tech n9ne and stuff

Here's a good way to make money selling beats off of Facebook.

Add only rappers as friends. You can find rapper friends by adding other music producers on facebook. You can find music producers facebook easily on soundclick.com

A lot of music producers' friends are rappers.

Add the rappers.

Now everytime you make a beat, post about the beat making process on Facebook like:

"I'm working on a beat with incredible snares"

http://www.crookedtbeats.com - remember to include your website in the post, use this one for example

and then "I'm finished with the snares, now I'm working on the bass"

include his beat selling website in every post he makes

Rappers that see your posts about making beats will be eager to check out the beats. His sales will depend on the quality of his beats and his marketing.

Keep adding rapper friends until you get to 5,000 or build a music page which allow unlimited friends. (beware of the Facebook friends limit, add 15 a day or something)

He can easily triple his income with this method without paying for ads.
