clickbank methods

I was wondering -> As I started with clickbank today:

1. Should I promote the Hoplink directly with an URL shortener?
2. Should I make an own (WP) blog/site -> write articles -> promote my website and put on each review & story I write the Hoplink?
3. Any other recommends?

I have never done CB or something similar before and I'm a newbie, would like to receive some guidence on how to start

I only promote clickbank products and this is what I do.

I create a review site for the products that I was promoting. Do not make it a sales page but make it a review page, compare them to other products on clickbank that are similar. Don't forget to use your affiliate link, if you can use php to redirect your affiliate links. Wordpress has a nice plugin called pretty link lite

Write an article and post it on ezine articles, make sure your link points to your review site.

create links to your review site using articles, and high pr sites, do not spam your site with scrapebox or xrumer, save these applications for your other blog sites that will point to your review site.

Web 2.0
1. Create a blogger.com site
2. Create a wordpress.com site
3. Create a livejournal.com site
4. Create a blog.com site
5. Create a webs.com site

Add more web 2.0 sites each week


Add a 2 or 3 unique articles to each (spinning is fine). Place your link to your site using your anchor text in the first paragraph of one of the articles.

Use your tools to create links to these sites that you created.

This should get you started.

you should use some king of tracker when promoting with clickbank, clickbank click stats is not the best.

This is what I'll do:

• Making daily 1 review about the product I'm promoting (300-400 words article) and post it on my WP blog
• Mid August I'll buy myself Scrapebox, and some other awesome tools.
• Will start making WEB2.0 props & spinning the articles -> blasting those websites (not my blog).

90% of the sites on page 1 are pagerank 6+ (1 site is pagerank 2 , and promoting its own "clickbank" product)

Have you checked how difficult it is to rank for your keywords. Download traffic travis it is free and use the seo analysis to see how competitive the keyword is.

Hey, thanks for the tool; I should've used it earlier. I check my first blog (adsense thinny) and it says difficult, but after 2 months I'm already on page 3 (almost page 2) - I cannot afford any SEO tools so it's almost complete WH.

anyways, the clickbank blog I'll be ranking to page 1 (well, it is one of the keywords, the most lucrative 10$ PPC - KEYWORDTOOL by google)

If you can't afford any tools go to yahoo site explorer siteexplorer(dot)search(dot)yahoo(dot)com and enter your competitors website and link where they are linking. You will need to do the linking by hand.

And once you're done with preliminary promotion, how many sales for that specific product do you normally expect? You seem confident with your techniques, I'm just curious to know what backs it in green

Hi amrak,

For each product I follow these procedures.

Note: When doing keyword research it is very important to have buying keywords. What I mean by that if you type your keyword into google and there are no ads on the top or right this keyword has no buying power, then chances are that it will be difficult to sell to these visitors.

1. I write one article a week for each site 500 to 700 words (unique)
2. I take the article and spin it and remove the originals words in the article
3. I submit the article to article sites using AMR
4. I search out 3-4 edu, gov, com and org sites with High PR and submit the comments by hand
5. I create 1 web 2.0 site a week for each site and link to my review site above the fold. Each article does not have a link to my site only one does. I point the other articles to authority sites.
6. I take the article on the web 2.0 site and spin it removing the original word and submit it to article sites using AMR, these links point to my web 2.0 sites
7. I link to forum posts to my web 2.0 sites
8. I link to directories and these links point back to my review site

The amount of sales I get varies because it depends on the products, two of my sites gets 1 out of 15 people to purchase another site get 1 out of 100. I continually tweak my sites to find the formula to increase sales.

From what I see it seems good, make sure the keyword is a buying keyword. When you type the keyword into google make sure there are ads on top and on the right, if there are no ads you will have a tough time selling the product with this keyword.

neeoo, when you talk about a review site/page, are you talking about a site that just has the main home/index page as the only page on the entire site with the actual review? Or do you have a "review blog" which has different products being reviewed on each post? This I feel is the most important part aside from the promotion, since it's the "money site". wow that site has some pretty detailed reviews, but instead of the usual feature formatted review, wouldn't a personal review work better? for example writing the review as if you've used the product personally?

Yes that will work. I personally like to stay away from personal reviews. I try to follow the format of Amazon, they review the product with facts and they let others tell you if they like or not, much more powerful.

so in the case of clickbank...

lets say you pick 4 products that are similar and even may compete with each other. You "describe" what each has to offer, not exactly "review" each one correct? After setting a site like this up, and promoting it the way you described above, after how long do you start seeing consistent search traffic (+ or - 10% fluctation each day), and how many hits do you see on average per day, per site?
