How do you forward a domain url to a another link?

I have a link (cpa offer link)

I want to use my own domain (www.mydomain.com or www.mydomains.com/offer)

How do I make my domain forward to cpa offer link?

Also, is this what you call a redirect?

If you have access to cpanel you can do it from there. Or you can put a redirect in .htaccess if you're cool with editing that.

I'm curious as to why though?

Because of the following reasons.

1. Someone told me you're not supposed to use your cpa offer link on Facebook because the CPA network will not like it.

2. Because when I use the CPA offer link on Facebook ADS, Facebook disapprove the ads.

3. Because I heard bit.ly is not something you want to use for your cpa links.

It seems I have to post some more rubbish before I can post something useful

However the syntax is "Redirect old-page full-url-of-new-page"

You can edit in any plain text editor

You can do it in 2 ways. Manage 'URL Forwarding' in your registrar's website control panel...or employ a HTML or PHP redirect script (google that) in your index.php/.html/.htm

How do you do a .htaccess ?

On your domain put something like:

Redirect permanent /offer hxxp://www.example.com/my_id

You need to fix the hxxp part

search in g man . Its easy to do . if u want to use CPA links on fb then you can use url shorteners also . There are may url shoteners those are not banned by FB . search for "url shorterner list" in big g and try using them.
