Hi,

Just had my adwords account banned :( I've heard of people getting their adsense banned before now but not really adwords

Even stranger as i wasn't even actively using it at the time!

Obviously i am onto google about this but wondered if anybody else had experience with this?

Hope on board dude, this has happened to millions of affiliates.. got my account banned last year. blows chunks.. but google turned into bitches.

If you are doing any kind of affiliate marketing with your adwords account, your account will most likely get banned sooner or later. I have 3 adwords account banned. The fastest way to getting your adwords account banned is to link directly to clickbank products with the hoplink.

I've had quite a few Adword Accounts banned in the last few months. Most of them were due to arbitrage or an excess of using to many $50.00 coupons. Which ironically Google kept sending me over and over. I even opened up an account, applied the coupon, and someone contacted me from google asking me "Please do not setup any further accounts with coupons".... LMAO.

Actually, a lot of people are having their adwords account banned, it has been going on for a long time now.

My adwords account got 'permanently suspended' back in January, I was using Googles keyword tool last month and it signed me into adwords to get more results and I don't know how or why but it is no longer suspended. So I tried added some fund and I got a email saying my account has been reactivated. I think I got lucky :).

Yes, you are so lucky when getting back the account. As I run many accounts, when suspend, almost no way to restore them.

Yes , i am seeing this staement for 10th time in forums , not only this forums but some other forums too , you should be carefull with your adsense accounts or easy that you will be banned easily .

Had my first (and only) adsense account banned last month. Shame, because I was just about to reach the minimum threshhold for my first $100 payout.

I can't quite figure out why but I have it down to several things:

(1) Some SeNuking and Xrumerring I did to several blogs which were running adsense. I don't think this is the case because I only made $20 from that, and those campaigns were run last year.

(2) I was running affiliate links on another of my sites, a directory site. The aff links were not hidden and existed in 25% the outbound urls. I was also running adsense on the site.

(3) I got a little greedy and saw that one huge advertiser was paying $1 - 1.40 per click via adsense. I clicked a few of those adsense ads on my site while using the same IP to see if I could quickly climb over/meet the minimum payout threshold.

My guess is that it was 2 or 3. Possibly both. I assume that they manually review each account before the first payout?

Any comments?

I lost 12 adwords accounts in the last 2 days so don't worry it's normal just move on and create another one
