Social Network for IM?

Hey guys, looking for your opinions on this. I've been working on my project for 2 months, it's not yet fully done, but at about 80%. I thought it would be cool to create something like facebook for Internet marketers where they'll be able to promote / advertise their online business, products, create groups (free or paid), networks and more. ^ Yeah, I'm working on it at the moment. Once I'll reach decent amount of users it'll be invite only. I still need to fill it up with info etc.

it's a brilliant idea...but just a question...so is IMers going to sell their products with other IMers? because the place is filled with all marketers?

I can't exactly remember one site I've seen in the past which is exactly similar...

it's a social networking site for MLMers...i'll PM you once I find the link...but that site has all IMers spamming the shit lol

^ No it won't be like that. I'm actually looking for a partner currently, so if anyone interested please pm me.

What I'm planning on doing is create a web site for both worlds, people who are looking to make money, and IMers who are looking to sell their products.

I'm looking to make it invite only for IMers that way it's not overwhelmed with products.
For example, you can not sell affiliate products in the market place, you sell YOUR product, not someone elseses.
Basically, I want to create a place where IMers can stay close to their customers.

I'm currently struggling with the content, but I also haven't advertised it yet.
