It's funny cuz I did this during the day and it was pretty weird...I'm not too shy at all, crazy at times but it was weird putting stuff on people's cars with a bunch of people around hah. I did it at a grocery store and got a couple of conversions, I gotta try it again. Something about it was weird to me at first but after awhile I guess you wouldn't care at all.

Know exactly what you mean, i dont mind walking or anything lol thats the easiest part.. which ties into the above question, i do it early AM just because not many people are out and i like the idea of people waking up to the ads.. if you do it late or mid day you chance people not needing their vehicle anymore that day

It's about 1000$ for a decent large billboard in my city. I would think conversions would be higher due to the legitimacy factor too. Thinking i'll probably use higher paying offers but i'd bet even a iphone submit or txt in style offer would convert really well.

2) What about simple car flyering? isn't that littering legally?

To answers your questions, No im not sure how legal it is.. just like every other method here on bhw. But i do know people get away with it every day and ive had friends do the same things with website of their name. Car flyering is done EVERY day by real companies who have to work for their leads, same with door 2 door salesmen, i dont see it any different and if anyone was to have a problem with it i would be able to talk my way out of it and rationalize, things become very simple when you communicate. Last thing, if i saw a porsche in my neighborhood, i wouldnt need cpa in my life. lol

Just got off the phone with my local paper. I'm putting a flyer in the Sunday circulation of about 89,000 total. I will let you guys know how that does soon as well.

I printed out 1000 flyers and distributed them to my neighbourhood. I put them all in separate mailboxes and stuff, and... Out of 1000 delivering it to 1000 households, -9- people went to my site. I had a conversation rate of 0%.

Is there any special trick to flyering?

I'm using other means of off-line marketing and am having great results for my CPA offers, however every time I try to do it with flyering (which is once so far :>), it fails gigantiously.

does the neighbourhood where you deliver those flyers matter a lot?

I would say it does...I do it by Zip codes, in the lower income Zip codes I would do job offers and sweepstakes and home biz-ops. In the upper middle class Zips I would do vacation offers and anything else that would appeal to that demographic.

for me its just car windows, i only keep it close to home cause i dont have transportation all the time, BTW what other offline tricks have you come up with, if care to share

Put yourself in place of your lead. People open up mailboxes to see ads all the time. It's like a visitor to a website that is banner-blind because he see's them all the time.

Personally, I throw away all the ads in my mailbox (Ads from vons, postcards, etc.) and I only keep the envelopes (Maybe you could mail your ad in a legitmate looking envelope?)

When you do it in cars, bridges, off freeways, etc. People aren't used to it, so they'll be curious and read it. It's all about attracting the leads' attention.

Only had enough time for 1 banner drop this mornin, left 4:30 it was light out by 5 lol. kinda of insane i havent drove by it so i dont know if it is still up. Ended up my stats as of now are over 700 clicks to the link and i have bout $200 of that is from the banner drop. lol success!

Ah, sadly car windows are illegal to flyer on in the Netherlands. Door-to-door is my only legal shot.

As for my other method, I'm using an SMS method which works great. I posted some explanation on that in another thread.
