WTF- BHW blocked - Thanks Mr. Gate$!

So after surfing around BHW for the last 2 months for 10-17 hrs a day, this morning my PC decided that BHW should be blocked.

It seems to have happened after a routine update for Vi$ta and it's default internet security settings.

Had to go into internet options and add BHW as an exception - and only then could I access the site again. Never been an issue before.

Just a heads in case it happens to you- you won't waste your time looking at your AV settings.

And I'm curious as to why it happened at all? Are they being overly protective to the general public or dictating sites that people can go to?

In either case- I think it's time to switch to Linux.

You use internet explorer for your primary browser?

I use FF exclusively.

IDK how to answer your second question. PC updated while I was reading posts- then I couldn't access any other BHW pages. Could hit other sites just fine, just not BHW. Got some message about couldn't find the page, but could access a cached copy. Looked at all my settings thinking that it was my AV, no luck. Changed internet options from the Window$ Security Dashboard- fixed it.

My Vista laptop got the same security update last night, but I haven't had any problems accessing BHW at all. Could the issue you are experiencing be caused by something else???

Not sure- I don't know what else would have had to be changed for the fix to result in adding the site as an exception.

Mate that's a different issue, like when I just bought my VPS, I had to add all sites to exception... well just edit in settings.
