Hi,

I bought a PR 2 domain today ..... but I am finding problem in installing wordpress. I have never had that problem with my new domains that I bought previously.

I paid to the seller and seller transferred the domain on my name.com account.

I changed the name servers to my hosting account

I then installed wordpress

But then I tried to login and failed... I tried several times but failed.

That website I think was not on wordpress previosuly.

Please let me know what should I do :)

How much did you buy it for?

if you want to maintain the PR of the website, you need to keep the website as it was earlier. If you remove the previous content and add your own new content, you will be loosing the PR and you might end up with a PR0 domain.

OMG.... Actually, I want an lending it to Authority Link Network..... They want user name and password... how can I let them use my website as a part of their private blog ?

I actually, want to create a sub admin for them.

I bought it for $18

I have bought MANY domains with PR and this has not been the case for me AT ALL. I can say that confidently after the PR update within the past few days.

As for the OP's question, if you are using hostgator, you might want to try their quick install feature. Fantastico has been really buggy for me lately and when I contacted their support they recommended Quick Install, which is their own version of Fantastico. If you're not using Hostgator, I have no idea.

I installed wordpress and now I checked everything is gone... I mean the content....

WHAT SHOULD I DO... PLEASE HELP....

If I delete wordpress will I be able to get the content back ?

Worried about PR... Will I lose PR now :(
