How long does it take for big G to correct indexed pages

Should I be worried if site:mysite.com shows 100k results and I have only 10k actual pages?

I've checked and there are no duplicate issues, submitted sitemap to webmaster tools and now I have 10k pages indexed from the sitemap.

So what are the other 90k results?

Does this somehow affect serps? Because I'm gone done in them ever since..

I've already corrected the problem I had before with robots.txt
Maybe G just hasn't updated the results? Then how long does it take?

Yes Wordpress. I've blocked in robots - tag, tags, search and other pages that might create duplicates.

I wouldn't worry to much to be fair, the index is normally a bit behind webmaster tools.

Google bots usually crawls a site very week. Atleast this is what I have experienced when I changed onpage SEO on my site.

Some of it might have to do with the PR of your site. Higher PR sites will have their links indexed faster.

You can change your crawl frequency in Google Webmaster Tools.

This is a big problem, because it's most likely that you have a lot of duplicate content. You need to correct the errors and avoid using robot.txt. That should be your last option. You need to correct the mistake at the source.

Depending on your onsite linkbuilding, then will it take month for G to come through all your sites.

But correct the mistakes and link and deeplink to your most important pages.

Yeah I did but I removed it. It's kinda hard to fix the duplicate problem with wordpress without using robots.txt
