ARRIVAL AT TRANSIT OFFICE OF EXCHANGE

The tracking information hasnt updated in over a week. Is there any reason to cause alarm? From your experience, when should I expect my package to arrive? I live on the east coast and the items I ordered from China are generic. Thanks for your help!

It depends what you ordered but most importantly who you ordered it from. I got scammed once from a seller using China Air Mail to deliver goods. After i released the funds to them, they immediately sent me the tracking information and it would show tracking for the first week of where my item was. Then suddenly after a week, I saw no movement in the shipping. After 3 weeks, the tracking information had vanished and I never received anything.

Your best bet when purchasing overseas, especially when you don't know your supplier first, is to pay via paypal and for them to ship your item(s) via DHL, UPS, or EMS. China mail is too slow and unpredictable. Hope your shipment arrives but I just wanted to relay my experience to you.

good luck

I did pay via pay-pal and I usually use EMS as a shipping method but the seller coerced me into using China Air Mail. Good thing I havent released the funds yet.

You wouldnt happen to know anything about a website called gofars.com? Are they known to scam people?

Looks like your package is getting held at customs at the moment.

No worse, due to a miscommunication between me and my supplier the item got sent to the wrong country. :@

It's saying that it got to an actual shipping location. This would be the same as if a business accepts your mail, then mails it to the location that actually does the logistics. (Such as if you mail your item to UPS, which then accepts your item and sends it out).

Sending anything out of the country of China is a bit of work and effort, sending it to the wrong country on accident isn't very likely.

The person sent the item to the wrong country because the shipping information on my aliexpress account says moldova instead of the united states. LOL

Ah, that would do it then.

But an who from now on should I use couriers instead of China air like UPS Fedex and DHL. Which courier is the best from your experience?

UPS slightly better only because they have more locations to pick up items at their warehouse in case is was not left at your door.

I work for a logistic company in HK. I can get discounts with DHL and other postal services. I can get the supplies from China and ship out via HK. Pm me!!!
