Applying different proxies to each browser?

Is there any way to have each browser have a different proxy, without doing the manual thing?

I'd like each browser to have a randomizing different proxy. Most programs simply randomize but give each active browser the same proxy and that's not what I'm looking for.

Install virtualbox, load windows or whatever OS you are using. Then instead of having a diff browser, you have a whole OS to dedicate diff proxy settings. If you don't know what a virtual machine is, basically you will have a OS running within a window, just like using remote desktop but it's still your pc. Sorry for the lame explanation but i have no idea how technically inclined u are. Here is the url and screenshot, as u can see he is running vista, xp is running in the virtual box. This allows you to use linux, osX, whatever you want within whatever OS you are running right now.

Proxy firewall should do , even though i don't knwo if you can specify the lists for each browsers.

I really wish there were programs that you could choose which browser it interacts with that would make a world of difference.

Yeah Proxy firewall is the best. you can set a proxy for every program and make them rotate randomly.. Or disable internet access for some suspicious or cracked programs and do bunch of other neat things.

Yea I used proxy firewall and it worked well (although it made some stuff crash every now and then, no biggy though)

Anyway the ultimate problem I ran into was that any other browser (safari, opera, chrome) just uses whatever proxies I'm using on Internet Explorer, even if it's being told to use something else.

Anyone found a way around this? What about Netscape Navigator? *shivers*

Firefox proxy configuration is independent of the system configuration and/or Internet Explore.

I use IE and Firefox at the same time through different ips. If you want to handle many proxies use Foxyproxy add-on for Firefox and you can easyly switch between proxies and allocate different proxies to different domains.

Chrome will always have the same proxy as Internet Explorer. Weird, I know.

Yea sorry excluded Firefox cause it does work independently of IE.

I used to use Tor for Firefox and it worked well enough. Is there any way to have multiple instances of Firefox open and each w/ a diff proxy?

I like the virtual box I installed it but damn I'm having the hardest time sharing folders to it. I installed guest additions and everything.

Anyway thanks for the help so far guys. I basically wanted multiple browsers to have multiple IPs because in creating accounts with what I'm doing it freezes up after a few from the same IP.

I found this with search and I had to bump it. I really have been looking for a solution other than virtual setup, I need to maximize my manual efforts with multiple different permanant browsers tied to a different proxy each. Much like the OP has described already.

This is really interesting - because someone asked me to add the multi-proxy tabs (very difficult) to Proxy Tool FF Addon (see thread here).

With this type of multi-profiles (browsers), along with the proxy settings bind to same Ethernet interface for accessing to Internet, it will be very complex to make it work, but theoretically, it is possible.

The real issue I'm seeing here is that we are "humans", not machines when accessing to multi-sites at once, unless it's done by bot (such as imacro, ubot, etc.).

We are experimenting the multi-instance Firefox using proxy tool FF addon, and will post the results this week (or next week, depending on how busy we are).

By the way, did you know that Proxy Tool FF addon has over 43M+ user agents, with the selection of popular user agents (FF, IE, Opera, Safari, etc.).

Theoretically, it's possible to have multi-instances, each with it's own "user-agent based browser".
